An immense desert landscape of canyons, high desert woodland, and miles of trails invite visitors to explore Dead Horse Point, State Park. The park has wonderful campgrounds with modern amenities, beautiful views, and connections to nature that will create long-lasting memories. Sunrises and sunsets are especially memorable, with canyon walls bathed in golden light, creating a stunning scene reminiscent of vivid watercolor paintings. This is my favorite of all our Parks. The views here are unmatched anywhere in the state in my opinion. from here you can see the confluence The Colorada and Green river join. And the most Amazing Sunsets you'll ever experience! just a 30 minute drive. A must See!

Dead Horse Point State Park views are vast and expansive with the mighty Colorado River below, constantly eroding the canyon deeper. This special place includes famous iconic scenery from the movie Thelma & Louise and Mission Impossible II. Dead Horse Point State is a designated Night Sky destination and including various programs.

Stunning views. Great mountain biking close by. If you've seen the movieThelma and Louise, it will look familiar. $20 entrance fee per vehicle. 45 minute drive from town, good stop along the way to Canyonlands

One of the best State Parks in Utah. This park has some of my favorite mountain bike trails in a park. It's open from 6am to 10pm. I'd look up 'Intrepid Trail System' for some good trails to bike on. Please remember to take enough water!
