The most bang-for-your-buck hike! You can hike through the remains of a 300 Room hotel originally built in the 1800s, continue up the trail to an amazing outcropping overlooking the Hudson Valley. When you reach the top there’s a one of the Catskills Fire Towers with a view that can't be beat. The trail head starts across from the Buddhist Monastery at the top of Rock City Road. Make sure to park in a legitimate spot to avoid a ticket.
