Today the Historical Kilby General Store Museum has interpreters who are dressed in period costuming representing the 1920s. The interpreters are available to answer your questions or just to chat about the good old days. Enjoy a fascinating look at life in early 1900s rural BC and step back into the past at the General Store Museum with its magnificent collection of original store items, and product packaging dating back to the 1920s and 1930s. The grounds surrounding the general store are approximately 3 hectares which we have preserved as the working farm it once was, the Waterloo Farm Museum. Today, we annually stock the farm with a wonderful variety of animals. Visitors of all ages can interact and feed the animals on the farm while they are learning about rural farm life. Little historic farm with animals and small museum. Great for a morning with the kids. Kilby also has a cute little café and sells amazing pies.
