Visit the ancient glen of Kilmartin - stone circles, great interactive museum and fabulous cafe for lunch, coffee etc.

Excellent museum about the settlements in the area, where the Ancient Kings of Scotland were crowned. The stones are older than Stonehenge. There is a great vegetarian cafe on site and coffee shop. Interesting short film on the Glen to watch.

Hugely interesting to visit with a great coffee shop even if you just fancy some coffee or a nice lunch. Under refurb in early 2021 - check opening times online.
