Knockderry House is a truly Scottish country house hotel on the banks of one of Scotland's lochs, Loch Long. A warm welcome awaits your stay in Scotland. Great 4* hotel about a mile from the flat. Also a nice walk along the shore road from the flat. Really nice to sit by the fireplaces in the drawing room and enjoy a wine or whisky etc. If you wanna eat its ESSENTIAL to call ahead a few days and check if they have availability. The have a 2 rosette kitchen and the food is great. PS. I used to manage the bar there

Knockderry house has a great restaurant with lunch, afternoon tea and dinner options, just a 12 minute drive from Oakdene Cottage.
