An amazing plat du Jour, the buffet starter is fantastic, so much choice and all you can eat. The staff and very efficient and helpful to cater to all the families needs. And the view across the lake is wonderful.

L'Escale is a great place to stop and get lunch or a fabulous ice cream and it has the absolute BEST views of Lake Vassiviere. The menu is good, portions are excellent and the prices are about right. The service is good but not overly friendly, especially when they're busy (the whole of Summer) but don't let that put you off - try to use a little French and then they'll help you out with ordering. Last time we went we had Salmon Taglietelle, a glass of wine and shared an ice cream...and sat and enjoyed the view. A perfect day.

Bar - Brasserie Menus - Crêpes - Glaces. Départ du bateau promenade. Ouvert tous les midis du 1er mars au 15 décembre et midi et soir du 1er mai au 30 septembre. Menu à 22€ et carte.
