The Vajdahunyad Castle was built as a millennial celebration of the Hungarian Conquest in 895. Right next to the castle is the City Park Ice Rink and Boating. In the summer it functions as a boating lake, in the winter it's a huge ice-skating rake. Around christmas, a christmas market is held nearby!
