They really pay attention to the details at Black Bird and have a brilliant menu. Delicious comfort food in a great old west saloon. Can get crowded on weekends during prime hours so plan accordingly. Thurs-Sat 11am-7:45p Sunday 10a-3p closed M-W

Check out this funky little food spot on your walk around the town of Cerrillos or after your hike up at the state park. Lovely owners and great food. Hours are a little sporadic (hey, they want to have a life!) so check ahead.
