There are endless adventures and lots of hikes to choose from in Pisgah National Forest but you can’t go wrong with Looking Glass Rock, Moore Cove Falls, and John’s Rock. On a hot day, you can also rent tubes right outside of the entrance and spend the day tubing down the Davidson River. Make sure to stop at Dolly’s Ice Cream on your way out for a delicious local favorite!

A National Forest in the Appalachian Mountains of western North Carolina. Hiking, waterfalls, rolling hills, horseback riding, and fly fishing are just a few of the amazing options at this historic site. If you want to avoid the crowds, visit on a weekday or when the park first opens.
