If you don't mind stairs, this is a nice spot to relax and enjoy the California sun. The reef off the Northern point is a great place to surf. Bonus, no need to pack a lunch; you can grab quick Mexican food at Roberto's before you head down to the beach.

Probably the most direct beach from our guesthouse. Tide Beach Park is a hidden Solana Beach gem. At low tide it is a secluded bluff surrounded beach with access north to the tide pools at Seaside State beach and the surf spot known as Table Tops. Take a 15 minute walk west on Cliff, over the tracks, cross PCH at the light, up the hill on Solana Vista Dr, right on Pacific Ave., and the beach access stairs are on your left. If you are not up for the stair workout down to the beach you can enjoy the view from a picnic table at the top.

Best spot to sit, have a burrito from Roberto's (around the corner), and watch the sunset. It's in a neighborhood so not as much touristy traffic and it's an incredible place to enjoy an evening at sunset or an afternoon at the beach.
