Ives Park-1.5 miles away from Beth’s Place. Grab a coffee at Jernabi’s coffee house or Park Bros and stroll down to the beautiful park in Downtown Potsdam. There is a children’s play area along with a big swing facing the river and lots of benches.

Located in downtown Potsdam, you can grab some food or ice cream and take a walk over the park to enjoy a great view of the Raquette River while you eat.

Nice for a still on a side walking path, Gazebo, benches along the water. New playground with small climbing wall. On weekends there is a Farmers Market in the mornings til early afternoons. Lots of geese and geese poop, so again, consider your footwear
