The oldest wooden roller coaster in the US. Then walk to the boardwalk for some great seafood
Around 30 miles from San Jose. The traffic can be heavy during the weekend afternoons. Check google maps and starting before 1 PM and Starting the return drive after 7.30 PM will help to skip the peak traffic.
Funloving kids and adults will enjoy this place. Entrance is free, it's right on the beach, and Santa Cruz is a stereotypical California Beach town.
I love the Boardwalk, there is no admission charge, just walk around and take it all in. There are rides for all ages. You’re right on the ocean and the Wharf right next door. In the summer there are free concerts. Enjoy!
