North America's largest Oktoberfest party, second only to the one in Munich, Germany! A 9 day celebration beginning on (Canadian) Thanksgiving weekend, the event attracts 700,000 people attending 11 Festhallen with over 40 family and cultural events, not the least of which is the Oktoberfest Parade. This Bavaria Festival was first launched in 1969 and has evolved into a large, popular event. In fact, it’s one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations outside of Germany! With music, dancing, and plenty of beer to get drunk, the annual Oktoberfest in Kitchener, Waterloo, should be on the top of your list of things to do. The Kitchener-Waterloo (K-W) Oktoberfest traditionally takes place from September 24 till October 11.

Welcome to the world's largest Oktoberfest celebration outside of Germany. The region hosts a fine tribute to part of it's heritage where the famous, locals and travellers all attend this magnificent festival with over 15 fest halls throughout the Region. Live music, wonderful food and a fun celebration of the best of German culture.
