During February and up until mid-March, Uruguay celebrates the longest Carnival on Earth. Every single day in more than 20 locations, local groups go up the stage to do their show. This is the theater where bands perform to get a price at the end of Carnaval. It starts at 7 PM. You need to go to an Abitab to buy a regular. This costs around 10-12 USD, depending on the location you want. This is the most authentic thing an Uruguayan can do during the summer.
