The first thing people tend to ask, is if the beach is walking distance. Technically it is… but not the beach I’d recommend going to. East beach and west beach are close but no where near as scenic or nearly and beautiful as Butterfly Beach. With drive up access and parking, the family favorite is sure to delight.

Less touristy than the beaches next to downtown. If you decide to walk or bike, take Channel Drive to Fairway Road for a beautiful flower adorned path adjacent to the coast line. Extend the trip and grab lunch at Cava or Mesa Burger.

My very favorite beach. I love to walk here regularly, when the tide is low you can walk to the pier in Santa Barbara and back easily. Dogs are welcome and dog owners are respectful and pick up after their fur babies. Easy free parking too.

The most gorgeous beach! Directly in front of the Bilitmore. Drive past the Biltmore and park all the way down at the end by the stairs.
