Visit the iconic ski jump, with views over all of Oslo

The best of the city is on Holmen Kollen, which is outside the city, around the ski jump. Take the metro/tube/underground (whatever you want to call it) to Holmen Kollen on line 1. Watch out, not all the doors open on this line, only the doors on the two front cars will open! When you get to Holmem Kollen, go up to the ski jump, it will be be tiresome to go up the stairs of the jump, and the view is not better up there, alternatively you can go right on the road in front of the ski jump (ski jump is left), on a smaller road, and look for a small ski jump, that view is even better. Lastly, simply keep walking up and pass the big ski jump, and along the way there will be nice views, and you will get to a café which actually has nice food and cakes, but it is a 20-30 minute walk.

Oslo’s famous ski jump can be seen from almost any height in Oslo. Just look to north west and there it is. The Holmenkollen restaurant serves traditional Norwegian comfort foods.

The famous ski jump wich you can see from most parts of Oslo. Take the subway line 1 to Frognerseteren. Get of at Holmenkollen stop and you will have an amazing view of Oslo!
