If you're looking for a guidebook, this place has many on the city. I recommend this over going to the library (Walnut and 40th). 2nd floor, directly right of the escalator.

Large bookstore with armchairs, etc. No pressure, just sit and read. Cafe within.

The University Of Pennsylvania Bookstore. Did you know UPENN is an Ivy League school? Pick up a sweatshirt, buy a book, or just hang out.

Anything and everything you could want in a large bookstore. Why watch TV when you can grab a book and relax on Penn's campus like the intellectual you are!?!
