Walk back in time admiring the iconic buildings. Number 469 is a museum, where you can see how they used to live.

Merida’s elegant tree-lined Paseo de Montejo is the city’s main boulevard and most fashionable district. Once a primarily residential area, the Paseo de Montejo in Merida has since been commercialized

On a Sunday morning this road, and a route leading all the way to the cathedral, is closed to cars and only open to cyclists, skaters, walkers and the like. You can hire bikes in several places but you'd best arrive early as the heat makes sure everyone is up with the birds.

This gorgeous avenue is the Merida's Champs Elysees. Walk down the wide tree lined walk ways day or night. There's a pretty Starbucks if you walk far enough.
