Just down the street and locally owned. I really like the Black Horse Coffee Shops, There is one close by at 796 Foothill. The one on Broad Street has a fireplace that is nice to sit near.

Besides being the best cup of coffee in San Luis, their Blackberry Pie is the best in the West. Pastries by SLO Baked are also incredible.

It's convenient on the drive towards Edna Valley, and they have delicious breakfast sandwiches.
