Lekune is an exceptional place. It´s an extremely well executed bar typical of the Basque country (north of Spain, and famous of their good taste for good cuisine). As in a typical Basque bar what you get is the “pintxos”, small portions of food on top of a bread slice (local insight: keep the sticks, they are your checkout bill!). It is located on Avenida de La Fontanilla and is always packed. If you visit it, you will understand why. Please don´t miss the “bacalao al pil pil” (cod fish).

Great tapas (pinchos are tapas which are offered to you by the waitresses and you take if you like it), typical basque place with some great wines too. Usually very busy so you put your name down when you arrive and wait at the bar until you are seated. Very Spanish ambience.
