Learn about the early Seattleites, what brought them to this outpost in the Pacific Northwest? What made them tick and what made this city big?

This is a tiny National Park! It's free, but has a wealth of info about the Gold Rush to Alaska, and how it put Seattle on the map. Just up the street, you'll also find SAM, the Seattle Art Museum. Admission price varies, but very worthwhile. You could spend all day there.

A national park indoors. Free to enter. Free gold rush era movies in their small theater. Great photo ops! Make sure to put your donations in the box.
