Experience a unique winter camping retreat for two in our wood-stove-heated tiny home. Complete with an outdoor shower, outhouse, covered hot tub, and a propane BBQ for cooking. The campfire pit and picnic table sitting area are open all year. This holiday rental setup is designed for couples and located on our working hobby farm right off a main highway. * Please note that the outdoor shower and bar closes seasonally due to freezing temperatures from Nov to May with no alternative available.

Cabin is partially OFF GRID in winter months (Nov -May) No running water/shower/indoor bathroom at this time. Water is provided with water dispenser//outhouse cleaned between guests. Sauna & jacuzzi tub available yr round. Pet friendly// 1 dog per booking with pet fee. Cabin heated by wood stove in the winter months and supplemented with a mini split heater. Firewood/kindling provided. Fall/winter 2025 there are residential homes being built on the street that may cause extra noise outside

Four miles south takes you to Saugeen Conservation Centre where you’ll see Swans a swimming and the nature trails will take you to the Sulphur Spring. Hanover’s P&H Centre hosts an indoor pool and ice rink. A short drive gets you to the beaches on Lake Huron. Enjoy horse races in summer and Casino.

Guests have access to a separate portable washroom, by walking about 100ft to the back of the yard.

Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

The Loft is a suite above our garage. A king bed and pull out sofa bed allow accommodation for 4 adults. The loft has kitchen facilities, shower, television, and air conditioning for the summer. Enjoy a meal on the nearby patio. If you would like to enjoy some prepared food from the Carrick Creek kitchen, just ask.
