Amazing spot! Beautiful home in a great location if you’re looking for a peaceful quiet getaway! Sunada is the friendliest host i have ever had, He goes out of his way to make sure you’re happy and enjoying your stay. Highest of recommendation!!

Initially, i had accidentally booked for one guest but Sunada was quick to help our situation as set us up in a private. We also got driven to the supermarket free of charge thanks to his kindness! The house is very clean, the rooms are cozy with great views all around and the common area creates for a super social area if you’re up for it. The area the house is in is filled with lush flora which makes it great to take strolls or creating a good vibe for running or any type of exercise. Lastly, Sunada was a great host and i would recommend this place to stay at as i would come back again!

Ik verbleef zeven weken bij Sunada in Aozora Stay, en het was heerlijk! De prachtige, rustige natuur rondom is perfect om te wandelen en te genieten van het gezang van de vogels. Van de winterse sneeuwvlokken en de unieke Yoshi-yaki begin maart (= controlled reed-burning in Fujioka), tot de eerste bloeiende kersenbloesems — elke dag bracht weer iets wonderlijks. Wat deze plek echt bijzonder maakt, is Sunada zelf. Zijn goede zorgen, enthousiaste energie en warme persoonlijkheid maken Aozora Stay tot een verborgen pareltje. We bezochten samen ook leuke en lekkere restaurantjes. En met elke dag werd het verblijf alleen maar beter, mede dankzij de fijne ontmoetingen met andere gasten. Een plek om nooit te vergeten! Ik kijk nu al uit naar een volgende keer in Aozora Stay. 🩵💙🈳🙏🏼

The resort is located right in front of lake Chuzenji. The scenery from the room is amazing especially in the morning. There are also deers roaming around the resort if you’re lucky enough to see them. The location is also near trekking path around the lake. It’s also a short drive to Yunoko lake area. We also had bonfire and the resort manager, Junya, helped us set it up. He was willing to share many things about the Nikko region. The dinner and breakfast were great. They serve fusion dishes for dinner and traditional Japanese meal for breakfast. The portion is generous and they use quality ingredients. Very worth the money. Will definitely come back if we visit Japan again.

No issues with the Airbnb or area, we just happened to go during off season when it was snowy which I would advise against. I imagine this is a great option during the summer peak

Logement à la japonaise très calme. C’est un excellent emplacement pour visiter la région de Nikko, à proximité de la gare. Utiliser le point gps ou les instructions de l’hôte pour se rendre au logement. Des restaurants sont accessibles à pied depuis l’appartement.

お部屋は掲載通りとても広く清潔で、周辺もレストランやカフェがたくさんあり素晴らしい宿泊になりました。ホストの方も非常に優しく、レスポンスは常に早く、何度も訪れたいお宿です。ありがとうございました！

We had a great experience staying at the house. there was more than enough room and there were heaters for the cold. There are not many restaurant nearby, but we didn't mind! it's a good place if you are in Nikko for hiking or visiting shrines since there is a bus stop nearby.
