Enjoy a drink in the enclosed courtyard, whilst the stream runs beneath you, or have dinner in the private conservatory dining room, followed by a bath in the roll top bath. Trematon Lodge is a newly renovated Tudor lodge set within what The Times calls “the most romantic garden in Cornwall,” on the historic estate of Trematon Castle. Perched on Castle Hill with views over the River Lynher, the lodge is steeped in nature and history. Just 3 hours from Paddington by train, guests can enjoy walks through nine acres of woods and gardens, swimming in the pool or tidal estuary, and relaxing in the pool house sauna.
