Welcome to your private one-bedroom apartment in Welches, Oregon! Just 18 minutes from Skibowl and 30 minutes from Timberline and Mt. Hood Meadows, this cozy retreat is perfect for two guests (or three with a child under 12). Located on the first floor of our home, the apartment has high-speed internet and a comfy space to unwind after adventure. Since we live upstairs, you may occasionally hear footsteps. Enjoy direct access to the river, where you can bask in the natural beauty of the surroundings and a view of Mt. Hood. The open concept living area boasts large windows that frame the breathtaking river views, creating an inviting ambiance that's perfect for relaxing. Indulge in a the barrel sauna with panoramic river vista. The cabin is close to endless activities up and around Mt. Hood.

Twinberry Cabin

Where comfort meets adventure. We are located blocks away from the local grocery, liquor store, restaurants and shopping. Three Nines Golf Course is around the corner. Arrah Wanna Trailhead is close and provides hiking and snowshoe trails that take guests into the Mt. Hood National Forest. When winter comes around, guests will have their pick of slopes at Mt. Hood Skibowl (just over 12 miles east), Timberline Lodge (20 miles east), and Mt. Hood Meadows (25 miles east).

Cozy & Private A-Frame: Mount Hood National Forest

Private A-Frame (for 4 people) and separate studio bedroom/bathroom behind the garage (for 2 people.) Please note: the studio must be requested in advance. The A-Frame is on the edge of the Mount Hood National Forest. • Walk or drive to the Salmon River trailheads and Salmon River Slab. • 15 min to French's Dome. • 20 to 30 min to Timberline and Mount Hood Meadows, x-country and snow-shoeing at Trillium or Teacup. The Bear's Den, studio with kitchen and pond/creek

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

Niksen House: Scandanvian style Cabin at Mt. Hood

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities.
