Great little place to stay in especially if you are a solo traveler. Right near the bus stop and it’s about a 10 minute bus ride into town.

Its hard to overstate our enjoyment staying at Andreas’s cabin. This is a beautiful location about 25 minutes drive from Tromso. The cabin is welcoming and private. The views are spectacular. But even more, Andreas defined an excellent host. He had the Sauna on when we arrived, always attentive, friendly and proactive. We ended up driving down deep into Finland to see northern lights because of snow and clouds in Tromso. And in no small part because Andreas was so helpful in advising and guiding our choice and timing. Far and away our best Airbnb experience. We’d love to return some day.

Amazing job of converting boathouse into very nice living quarters. Hosts are friendly, responsive, and provide very good info on what to do in the area. We saw northern lights over the marina during our March stay. Turn on Youtube, put on a crackling fire, and enjoy watching the boat traffic pass by. A big snowstorm came in before and during our stay and they did a great job of keeping the driveway clear. The road from Tromso was also fine for driving during our winter stay. We got a few groceries and the kitchen had everything we needed. Cabin is warm and cozy, VERY clean. Great location for exploring the area. We would stay here again.

We besloten pas op het laatste om naar Noorwegen te vertrekken en deze locatie was een hele goede match. Van alles te doen in de omgeving, goed bereikbaar en een keurig verblijf. Het contact met de eigenaar was heel goed en vlot, ook al waren ze niet thuis in hun bovenhuis. We hebben een top tijd gehad. En hadden ook enorm mazzel met prachtig Noorderlicht. Al met al een hele fijne basis om dagelijks op terug te vallen.

This was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. The property and view are amazing! Fredrik was incredibly kind and responsive- before and during our stay. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future. The grocery store is a quick walk just near the apartment, and we walked everywhere (20 minutes) or so to downtown bus terminal for Northern Lights and Reindeer Tours, about same distance to the mall. Local grocery store had a ton of gluten and dairy free options, and was very clean and friendly staff. The view was absolutely amazing.

The Airbnb was the Best experience I had so far. Everything perfect, Henriette even picked up us and drove to the place.

Lovely cozy old small cottage house, immediately felt like home <3 A little squank so vertigo on the first evening but it passed the next day. Went for daily morning swims in the sea, baked bread and skiid mountains. Perfect peaceful location on Kvaloya. Especially lovely snd functional kitchen, even had a smoothie blender and beautiful bowls. The road to the house tends to be undrivable if it snows and slushes but it worked great to arrange snow clearing directly with Siv’s brother Gaute who lives nearby (because if you park near the main road, then nobody can clear the snow). Ha det bra och tusen tack för allt!

It was a lovely and cosy place to stay. We loved our time there! The scenery was amazing too.

The cabins are beautifully located right on the sea front, the island is stunning and its so so quiet, it is impossible to describe how peaceful it feels, I absolutely loved the fresh snow each morning like a blank canvas to start each day. We used the hot tub 2 nights and had the northern lights dancing overhead due to the amazing location which is ultimately what we went for. The cabin was warm, well equipped, clean and well kept, the beds were comfortable, and everyone slept well. The cabin was plenty big enough for 6 adults. Maria was super responsive and even popped round when we couldn’t get the hob to work which she fixed, she was also very helpful with where to go walking on the island and lent us spikes for our shoes. The shop is well stocked and we managed to get most things we needed for the weekend we stayed. The only limitations are the ferry’s to and from the island and the bus service to the ferry terminal but that adds to the quiet and isolation in this amazing place

Said was an exceptional host! Friendly & communicative, he even sent a driver to collect me from the airport & take me to get groceries before dropping me at the doorstep as my flight arrived on a Sunday evening when public transport is limited. 5* host!! The apartment is stylish & comfortable with a beautiful view, I saw the northern lights from the front porch! It is a little way from the city, but the bus stop is very close by & public transport is easy to navigate (Said recommended the transport app “Svipper”) beautiful city. Would highly recommend. 😊

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect spot for our stay in Tromso. The house is beautiful and overlooks a the sea, we saw the northern lights from the terrace 3 out of the 4 nights and the view from the panoramic windows is genuinely breathtaking. Kristina was super helpful and responsive - thanks so much!

Wir waren eine Woche in Vibekes gemütlichen Haus. Es liegt fernab von jeglichem Tourismus auf einer kleinen Insel. Trotzdem kommt man gut mit dem Auto oder dem Bus nach Tromsoe. Das Haus war bei Ankunft blitzsauber, die Schlafzimmer praktisch und die Betten sehr gut. Die Küche voll funktionsfähig, alles da, grandios der Blick auf den Fjord von einer Frühstücksbar!! Das Wohnzimmer ebenso sehr gemütlich und mit phantastischem Blick, Gemütlichkeit wird getopt durch ein Ofenfeuer. Der Flur macht auf Grund seiner Bodenheizung immer warme Schuhe! Bad und Toilette getrennt - perfekt! Durch diese tolle Lage hatten wir eine wunderbare Ruhe, einen phantastischen Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer auf einen Fjord und um die Nordlichter zu sehen, mussten wir einfach nur vor die Haustür gehen! Einfach grandios!! Unbedingt zu empfehlen!!

Das war unser erstes Mal in einem Airbnb und wir waren begeistert! Hergunn war super nett, ihr Appartement und die Kuppel waren gemütlich und sauber. Hergunn war sehr hilfsbereit und hat bei Fragen schnell geantwortet. Die Polarlichter über dem Fjord waren traumhaft 😍 Hergunn hat uns an der Bushaltestelle abgeholt und auch hingefahren. Ab dem zweiten Tag hatten wir einen Mietwagen am Flughafen gebucht. Hier muss man etwas vorsichtig sein - wenn das Flugzeug Verspätung hat und der Mietwagen nicht pünktlich abgeholt werden kann, wird das Fahrzeug an jemand Anderen weitervermietet und man bekommt sein Geld nicht zurück. Daher hatten wir erst ab dem zweiten Tag einen Mietwagen.

Die Unterkunft von Anette war für uns der perfekte Ort für unsere Tourenferien. Die Wohnung ist super gelegen, hat eine tolle Aussicht auf den Fjord und ist nur wenige Meter vom Meer entfernt. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir hatten genügend Platz für uns drei. (Achtung 1 Zimmer hat keine Tür) Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und man hat vom Esstisch eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Anette ist sehr hilfsbereit, hat uns gute Tipps gegeben und hat auch bei unserer verspäteten Ankunft auf uns gewartet. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Anettes Wohnung.

Wonderful location away from it all, with everything you need to unwind for a few days. The nearest supermarket is a little way away so stock up on your drive in. We were there at that beginning of March and needed the 4x4 (or AWD) with studded tyres. The weather was epic, thoroughly enjoyable. The place is warm with terrific views over the water. Many thanks for offering this great opportunity.

We keken enorm uit naar ons verblijf in Noorwegen en de host was steeds bereikbaar. We kozen voor een verblijf in rust en natuur met sauna en hottub. Voor het gebruik hiervan moesten we bijbetalen wat niet zo heel duidelijk staat vermeld. Voor deze prijs misschien wel wat meer hout voorzien want hier kom je zeker niet mee toe en vermits de prijs toch al prijzig is mocht dit er wel onbeperkt inzitten vinden wij. Het huis was proper, ruim en prachtig zicht. Wel een gevaarlijke trap naar boven, vooral het gat naar onder als je boven staat. Kinderen die aan het spelen zijn hebben dit niet altijd in het oog, misschien een omheining voorzien voor de veiligheid! De openhaard is zeker een pluspunt want we houden van deze gezelligheid. We hebben 5 van de 6 nachten het noorderlicht kunnen bewonderen vanop het terras. De keukenuitrusting kan misschien nog iets uitgebreider. We misten een mixer om onze soep te mixen en een vergiet om de spaghetti af te schudden.

Een prachtige locatie met heel veel ruimte binnen en buiten. Het uitzicht over het fjord is fantastisch. De kinderen (en volwassenen) hebben zich om het huis vermaakt met het zoeken naar schelpen en mooie steentjes. Er loopt een sneeuwhaas om het huis en ook de otter is 2x gespot. Bijna iedere avond hebben we genoten van het noorderlicht. Prachtig!!! Binnen is er ontzettend veel ruimte. Ideaal met 4 jonge kinderen. Ze hebben ontzettend veel plezier gehad, mede door de spelletjes die door Elisabet voor ons geregeld waren. We hebben een aantal keer een vraag gesteld en kregen daar direct adequaat antwoord op. Ook de tips over de omgeving waren erg fijn. Mooie autoroutes, maar zeker ook in de buurt is veel te bezoeken, wandelen en te zien. We hebben een prachtige week gehad. Triptip: Fjordcruise vanuit Tromso. Een 3,5 uur durende boottocht met gids die uitleg gaf over de omgeving, wildlife etc.

Outstanding stay! Privacy, comfort, location and a great hot tub. We ended up seeing our best aurora show from the patio/deck area. Great place. Great hosts.

The place was very easily accessible from the city centre. it felt like home at the apartment. Jenny was really helpful and always available if we needed any assistance. The surroundings were really good. Most of the places were at a walkable distance from the apartment. We would definitely recommend Jenny's place for a nice cozy stay if anyone is travelling to Tromso.

We had a wonderful stay. This beautiful penthouse apartment has the most amazing views. We think the best in Tromso, from the huge full length windows. Watching the ever changing weather pattern, from snow storms to sunshine became so much part of our day and it’s what I missed the most when we came home. It’s the perfect place to sit and relax before enjoying all that Tromso has to offer. The apartment is spacious and in pristine condition. Trine is a kind responsive host.

Die Unterkunft ist der Hammer. Die Wohnung ist im 8.Stock und ist in das Meer hinaus gebaut. Vom Balkon und vom Wohnzimmer aus hat man eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Auf Anfragen wurde immer sehr schnell geantwortet. Die Unterlagen um die Unterkunft zu finden, sowie die Beschreibung wo der PP und der Wohnungsschlüssel ist waren top. Die Wohnung entsprach zu 100% unseren Vorstellungen. Unser Sohn ist Rollstuhlfahrer, die Wohnung ist für Rollstuhlfahrer sehr zu empfehlen Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich, dass wir in dieser tollen Unterkunft zu Gast sein durften.

Vivi‘s Haus ist ein absolutes Highlight! Wahnsinnig toll gelegen, wunderschöne Aussicht über den Fjord in die Ferne. Modernes schickes und super wohnliches/bequemes Haus. Wir konnten abends im Whirlpool auf der Terrasse den Polarlichtern im Himmel zusehen. Von der Terrasse hinab ging die selbst „gebaute“ Rodelbahn den Berg hinab. Es hat uns im Haus an nichts gefehlt, lediglich die Sauberkeit war beim Checkin nicht ganz wie erwartet, das wurde uns jedoch glaubhaft als bedauernswerter Einzelfall dargelegt. Auf auftretende Probleme reagierte Vivi sehr zeitnah und stand stets für Anfragen zur Verfügung. Wir würden jederzeit wieder unseren Urlaub in diesem Haus verbringen! Im Winter ein absolutes Traumhaus eingebettet in tiefen Schnee umringt von viel Wald, Fjord und Berg!

We had a lovely stay in Mathias’s home. The flat looks just like the photos, and it’s a quick and easy 10-15 minute walk to most shops, restaurants, etc in central Tromso. Conveniently located to the wonderful Vervet Bakeri nearby. Would stay here again!

Eine Wohnung mit wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer, Sehr gute Lage und Moderne Einrichtung. Charlotte war sehr zuverlässig und Proaktiv. Ich würde diese Wohnung und Charlotte als Eigentümerin jedem Empfehlen, der Einen Ausflug nach Tromso macht ☺️
