Timms Cottage

Timms Cottage is a rustic farm cottage and allows you to relax with an indoor outdoor space giving you breath taking views of Mt Dobson, Fox Peak and our farm. The cottage is situated behind the family homestead within our garden on our farm, providing a peaceful and private setting. We are a working farm. We are 10 km from Fairlie which has some great eating places, 3 km from Lake Opuha and half an hour from Mount Dobson and Fox Peak. Tekapo and Geraldine are only half an hour away.

Our newly built holiday home has been specifically designed so that you can indulge the epic mountain views and incredible night sky stars. Finished to a high standard and located on the outskirts of Twizel, Tussock Fields, offers everything you could desire for your stay in the Mackenzie, space for family and friends, total modern comfort, off street parking for all your vehicles and free wifi. Please note; property it is not fully fenced, outdoor bath not available May to September.

Brand new modern building with elegant interior, complementary breakfast and coffee bar is the perfect place to escape. Take a 3 minute walk to the wonderful shops and cafes on the Fairlie's Main Street and the famous Fairlie Bakehouse.

Unit A5, Waitaki Lakes Apartments is a one bedroom fully serviced apartment in idyllic surroundings on the edge of the Otematata Golf Course with the Alps2Ocean cycle trail, walking trails and wetland areas nearby. The apartment has been refurbished with a new kitchenette & bathroom, double glazing and interior upgrade. Please note that I am not on site but please message anytime if you have any queries or need anything. This is our holiday home so please be mindful of this.

Hot tub to use for your stay. We are set on a lifestyle block, Our cottage is the perfect place to stay for biking fishing hiking and star gazing. We are close to town 5 min drive to shops restaurants and the town center or a nice 20 min walk. Mt Cook is only 50 min drive away with hiking tracks hooker valley and Tasman all just up the road . Lake Pukaki is only 15 min drive away. Tekapo is 40 mins drive. Cyclists we have space in the garage to lock your bikes away. .

The Brown House

The Brown House was tragically lost in 2020 in New Zealand’s worst fire disaster that devastated the village Award winning architect Lisa Webb who designed the first Brown House was enlisted to design the rebuild. The results are just as stunning This four-bedroom retreat accommodates up to ten guests. Each bedroom offers breathtaking views. The house includes two living areas a dedicated office space, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.

Hallewell Haven is a little spot of tranquility, cosy and warm. Our self-contained studio is just a minutes walk to the picturesque Market Square with Cafes, Restaurants and Supermarkets. Whether you are fishing, cycling, tramping, enjoying the lakes in the summer, skiing in the winter or just taking in the scenery we want to make your stay a memorable one. Everything is at your fingertips in this fully self contained unit.

Fox Cottage is a modern 4 bedroom home, situated on Fox Peak Ski Field Road, near Fairlie South Canterbury. Due to its location, Fox Cottage is a perfect holiday destination for anyone who wishes to experience the great outdoors. With the Fox Peak Ski Field and the North Opuha Conservation Park only 10 minutes drive this home is perfect for those interested in tramping, fishing, mountain biking, horse riding or skiing.
