Step outside and there are over 25 miles of forestry track starting from the front door and the 4.5 mile long Alwen Reservoir just 5 minutes walk away. Hafod Hedd (Peaceful Summer Dwelling)

Hafod Hedd is set in a beautiful private woody location on a the banks of a river. It is the perfect get away for adventurous souls who wish to escape the modern world! Cooking, heating and hot water are provided by a real fire, light is provided by candles, and the loo is an eco-friendly compost toilet. The real highlight is bathing under the stars in a pair of al fresco baths. This dwelling is only suited to able bodied adults as there are steep paths, hot fires, and drops into the river.

This romantic tree cabin is located on the edge of a tranquil woodland at the bottom of a beautiful privately owned 5 acre garden, overlooking a hypnotic river waterfall. This majestic retreat is where you can unwind, relax and recharge, with full access to the BBQ area and on site sauna. If sitting back is not for you there are several local country walks and attractions. By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

Welcome to Sigrid Lodge, one of our Scandinavian A frame lodges here at Graig Escapes. Set in the beautiful vale of clywd area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by open fields and beautiful countryside. Enjoy being greeted by our Alpacas on arrival and when you step inside Sigrid lodge we hope to blow your mind with the stunning A frame design, finished in a Scandinavian and nordic style which boasts a wood fire, oak flooring, lots of lovely rugs and woollen blankets.

Celyn Pod - sleeps 2

With stunning views of Llyn Celyn, this glamping pod comes with everything you need for a relaxing or adventurous break. Located in Eryri National Park there are endless trails that can be explored or if it’s a relaxing break you need, drink in the views from the hot tub in this peaceful area of North Wales. Off Grid unique Panoramic Dome, sleeping 2 adults.Double bed, log burner & amazing views. As you enter your quirky dome, you’ll be tempted to dive into the double bed and devour those views! You’ll also find comfy seating – the ideal spot for a cup of tea .Simply yet effectively furnished, the space reinforces the sense that this is a sanctuary. A woodburning hilltop sauna with a glass wall and fantastic views, parking onsite, lake for wild swimming, with 2 Kayaks, 2 Standup Paddle boards and a rowing boat.
