200 year old Gardener's cottage, Mid Wales

Dan y Coed means 'under the trees'. Our cottage has nestled under the wooded hillside of Tan yr Allt for 200 years. The cottage is on the outskirts of Llanidloes, a 10 minute walk to town. We pride ourselves on guest satisfaction and the cottage is equipped to a high standard. We welcome all people and well behaved pets (downstairs). Come, enjoy the opportunity to walk, cycle, sail, fish or just relax. We are eco friendly in every way possible. Caring for the planet and guests a top priority.

A pretty shepherds hut sleeping 2, plus 2 well behaved pets. It has a kitchenette with hob, microwave/oven, fridge, kettle, toaster & smart TV, there’s shower room has a flushing WC. There is a double bed for an early night after a day in the fresh air. Or slide yourselves into the private wood fired hot tub for a relaxing evening under the stars, with a glass of bubbly. There is complimentary wood for the first heat up of the hot tub ready for your arrival. Further wood can be bought on site.

We have numerous walks on our doorstep, a 3 minute stroll to the River Severn and are a stone's throw from Llandinam Gravels Nature Reserve. We are also approximately 1 mile away from Plas Dinam Country House. It has a fully equipped kitchen, king size bed and large comfortable chairs - perfect for a short break or longer holiday. Cooking area ,with mini fridge & camping stove. Parking Private parking available, the track up to the cabin is steep. There is a parking space available at the bottom of the track (50 meters away from the cabin) or you are welcome to drive up, as there is space to park and turn around at the top of the track.
