A master bedroom links on to a compact lounge & ensuite bathroom, dining & kitchen area from either side all with full views of the water & lagoon. There is a seperate sleeping pod with a Queen size bed 2 metres from main dwelling for an extra 2 guests. Amazing second Hot outdoor shower under the trees.

We have a sculpture garden and gallery on site showcasing the work of David Carson and other artists. Free entry to our guests. Cath and Al are kiwi locals having been born and brought up in this area and lived here all our lives. We are happy to give guests advice on where to visit and what to see. Our accommodation is located in a quiet peaceful location with bush and native birdsong on a ridge. There are breathtaking views across Sandy Bay, Marahau and Abel Tasman National Park from the apartment.

The handcrafted and wool insulated yurt is warm and cosy year round and has a skylight to gaze at the stars at night. A private retreat in the native bush with outdoor kitchen, bath/shower and composting toilet all with amazing views of the Motueka river valley and the Tasman Bay beyond.

Quiet and cosy Motueka

The master bedroom and en-suite in my home is set up as a private Airbnb room. It has its own car parking area, entrance door, and kitchenette. I live in the rest of the house. So its like staying in your own motel room but without that usual bland and touristy motel feeling.
