Everything positive that others have written about Carmen and her place is true. When you arrive in a new country, the best thing is to be greeted at the airport by a friendly face and taken to accommodation that has all of your needs catered for, right down to there being breakfast supplies… and that what we got from this Airbnb. We only stayed one night, so I can’t really comment on the location - although the taco restaurant up the road had some nice food. Thank you Carmen and Roger

We had an amazing stay at Glen’s villa and in Vanuatu overall. With 5 adults and 2 kids we needed plenty of space, and the house had this in spades. Big open living areas, outdoor spaces and comfortable bedrooms made us feel right at home. Having Anna on hand to help us with house matters and also local recommendations was great, and Glen was a fantastic host with helpful hints and quick responses with any questions. I would highly recommend Glen’s place for anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay while exploring Vanuatu.

Everything you need and more for a relaxing, idyllic, tropical getaway has been provided by Jeanette in The Bay House, where it's all insect screened, yet open, breezy and private. Yes, Port Vila is in recovery mode after the December earthquake and parts of some roads may have been potholed by seasonal monsoonal flooding, but that is part of the Efate adventure. Get your papaya, bananas and vegies at local roadside markets, visit nearby Tamanu Resort Restaurant and Pizza83(with string band and kava on Sunday).

Had a great time at Russell & Tricia’s place! Perfect getaway. Both were very accomodating and allowed us to bring our bikes over in their boat. Had many great bike rides around the island. The area was beautiful and private. Ocean right at your doorstep and a huge private yard to play sports. The place came filled with lots of entertainment - books, pool noodles, kayaks, puppies!

If your looking for paradise away from too much tourism this place is a dream. We absolutely loved it and extended our stay. The 9 nights were wonderful. Was the best snorkeling I've ever done and we've travelled a lot as a family. The house is perfect, solar and all your need if you love the environment and don't need excess energy. We took plenty of food from Australia which I'd highly recommend for a long stay so you don't have to go back to main island to shop and just enjoy your paradise. We will definitely return!

We absolutely loved our stay in Namele villas! The place was perfect for 2 couples and an infant. The place is very clean, kitchen very well equipped, we loved the swimming pool, and we used the kayaks multiple times to go out and explore! Communication with Deborah and Robert was really good as well! Thank you for having us!

Lydia and Dave are the most beautiful hosts. Extremely helpful and have a great sense of humour. Their garden Oais is one to be admired. It is like a tropical rainforest with lots of sweet smelling flowers as you meander through. The little bungalow is so well designed with all you need for a very comfortable stay. We didn't eat out much. We preferred to cook at home and enjoy our deck over looking the pristine ocean. The snorkelling was lovely. So many beautiful fish to see and the swimming pool is a welcome gift too. We cannot recommend Vila Ducul enough. It is a very special place and we will definitely be back.

Pango Beach House – Your Perfect Getaway! We had the pleasure of returning to Pango Beach House for our second stay, and it was just as magical as the first! The breathtaking sunsets,provided the perfect backdrop for our evenings with a cocktail on the deck . The beach house is impeccably clean and well-equipped, offering all the comforts of home just steps from the beautiful ocean .Colin was attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and responded with any concerns straight away . With its serene atmosphere, stunning views, and snorkeling right out the front door we wholeheartedly give Pango Beach House a 5-star rating! We can’t wait to come back .

Arriving to Eden Gardens was like arriving at a garden oasis. A very warm welcome from Carolyn and her puppies. For a large family of 6, kids ranging from 22 to 12 , plenty of room to spread out and relax. A resort style holiday with 4 kids was not in our budget, but the house felt like we were in our own private resort. What makes Eden gardens special is the activities that go with it. Being able to do the sky bridge rope course, swim in the river everyday. An early evening swim in the river, once the day visitors had left, have the place to ourselves was magical.Well not really by ourselves, as our new puppy friends ,Rosa and Snowflake were always by our side, protecting us , leading us in and out each time.We miss you puppies, thank you for taking care of us. We would say one of our highlights of our stay was the traditional cooking class. The end result was delicious! So grateful to learn so much about Vanuatu culture during the cooking class so educational and inspiring.
