Wow - Lars's rental has everything you need and more! My family and I have stayed in many, great AirBnbs and, yet, we all agree that this rental was the best ever. The location cannot be beat - close to excellent restaurants, hiking, and easy transit options. The home itself is stunning and fully equipped with every amenity for families. We felt welcomed by our hosts and they were very proactive with communication. We hope to return to this beautiful home!

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

Irina is a lovely host. She is very caring and made sure we had everything we needed. The bed is very cozy and the kitchen has all the essentials. Her apartment is striking architecturally and in a great location surrounded by fun shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend staying with Irina.

Tolles, großes Haus mit hellen, wunderschön eingerichteten Räumen. Alles da, was man auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt braucht. Joost haben wir als engagierten und freundlichen Gastgeber erlebt. Vielen Dank, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Casa di campagna accogliente e pulita, con vista su un mulino a pochi passi. Ampio soggiorno, cucina nuova. Apprezzata la presenza di caffè, olio, sale, pepe, bagnoschiuma, ecc. I maiali e il cane sono molto socievoli, anche con i bambini, per i quali sono presenti anche altalena, dondolo, tappeti elastici. Esther e Erik si sono mostrati molto gentili, disponibili e riservati. Soggiorno rilassante e super consigliato!

Arthur's house is perfect place for your stay and Arthur himself is great host. At first I really appreciate that he accept our request for stay and was not afraid to accommodate group of friends instead of a family. He have no trouble with change of check-in time even in only one day before arrival. He provided us with many usefull information about public transport, nearby restaurants and similar info needed by every stranger. His home is beatifull. Small quiet garden, big living room, soft beds, two toilets and you can even borrow his bikes, which should be very useful in Netherlands;-) Big great surprise was easy parking just next to the house. Public transport is few minutes by walk and you can be in Amsterdam Centrum within 30 minutes or in Keukenhof in the same time. So big recommendation to everybody who want to enjoy quiet cozy accomodation in good location for good money.

Wir haben einen schönen Familien Urlaub in Wyik aan Zee gehabt. Schöner Strand zum spazieren gehen. Ein Ausflug nach Haarlem und Amsterdam standen auch auf dem Programm. Sehr zu empfehlen. Alles in allem wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Unterkunft war sauber und gemütlich. Drumherum war es sehr ruhig und am abend konnte man hier bestens entspannen. Die Gastgeberin Gabriella war sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und antwortete sehr schnell auf Fragen von unserer Seite. Von der Unterkunft waren Touren zum Meer oder nach Amsterdam kein Problem und leicht zu erreichen.

I can't recommend Martijn and Lucy's place enough. The apartment itself was extremely well furnished and thought out, including a well stocked kitchen, decent shower and plenty of towels provided. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. There are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment at the top floor of the building, but these are well worth it for the benefit of a roof terrace. The location is great, with plenty of food options within a few mins walk (it's worth checking out the Foodhallen!) and an outdoor market on the street below. A tram line that can take you towards the central station is only a couple of mins away or it's an enjoyable walk to anywhere in Amsterdam. We had a great stay, thanks so much!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt zu 100% genossen! Serge ist der perfekte Gastgeber, zuvorkommen, immer da aber trotzdem zurückhaltend, höflich, freundlich, hilfsbereit - uns wurde einfach jeder Wunsch erfüllt und es hat an nichts in dieser luxuriösen, absolut durchdachten Unterkunft gefehlt. Hochwertige Geräte in der top ausgestatteten Küche (Salz, Pfeffer, Öl, Essig, Backpapier, Alu-& Frischhaltefolie usw.), gemütliches Sofa&Bett, schönes Bad, es war schön warm (im doch kühlen April). Unsere Wäsche konnten wir waschen und auch im Trockner trocknen lassen. Vor den Fenstern waren Fliegengitter, im Schlafzimmer gute Verdunklungsvorhänge und für tagsüber schönen Sichtschutz. Parken kann man direkt vor der Unterkunft auf einem großen Parkplatz, das Auto hat man von Wohnzimmer&Küche immer im Blick. Wir werden wiederkommen! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Le logement était conforme à la description, très propre, calme et bien situé. L’hôte a été très réactive et attentionnée, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Mariettas Haus liegt in dem schönen Städtchen Muiderberg, von wo aus wir drei Tage lang völlig unkompliziert nach Amsterdam gependelt sind. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, ist umgeben von alten Bäumen und vielen alleinstehenden Villen. Die Wohnung eingerichtet, es gab kleine Begrüßungsgeschenke wie Pralinen, Käse und Wein. Vielen Dank hierfür. Nach Besichtigungstagen in der Stadt haben wir die Abends in Muiderberg am Strand ausklingen lassen. Ein schöner Aufenthalt.

We had a lovely stay at Tijmen's spacious home which is ideally located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, yet still just a short walk to the museum campus, Vondelpark and several other sites. Tijmen was a wonderful host who provided very clear instructions and guidance on restaurants and sites in the area. The flat was clean and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed relaxing with wine and snacks in the sun on the rooftop deck. Like most flats in Amsterdam, you need to climb stairs to get to the flat (and the deck), but it is well worth it!

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans le airbnb de Max, un hôte très amical, disponible et arrangeant. Le logement était propre et surtout très bien équipé avec tout ce qu’il faut. Point très important : il est situé dans un quartier calme tout en étant à seulement 10min en bus d’Amsterdam Centraal. Bonus pour la terrasse très agréable ! Si nous devions revenir à Amsterdam, nous vendrions ici à nouveau !

Place was great for our family, clean, tidy and kitchen has everything we need for. Keukenhof is 10 minutes drive, Amsterdam short train ride away. There is parking front of the building. Beds are comfortable no complains. bathroom was spotless clean. Highly recommended Mark's place. He was so helpful and answers every message so prompt as well. Thank you Mark.

Ich war mit meinem Partner ein verlängertes Wochenende da und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Jet ist supersüss und hat uns jeden Abend freundlich begrüsst, wenn wir zurückgekommen sind. Nach Amsterdam hat man ca. 40min mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Auch am Strand ist man sehr schnell mit dem Auto. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen wiederzukommen.

Traumhafte und sehr gemütliche Wohnung mit tollem Garten zum Entspannen. Die Sonne war leider nur kurz da, aber im Sommer ist der Garten wie ein zweites Wohnzimmer. Sehr zu empfehlen :)

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything provided that we could need to cater for ourselves. Bathroom was well stocked and the shower was hot with good pressure. Nice private garden with fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. Neighbourhood was really quiet and peaceful, extremely green (it feels like you are in the woods) but close to plenty of amenities. Has a very family friendly vibe. Short walk to the shops/supermarket etc. and even closer to the woods/lakes etc. Lots of good outdoor routes to explore. Adva was great with some walking recommendations. 20-30 mins drive to Utrecht and Amsterdam so easy to dip in for a restaurant etc. although there are some good local restaurants which Adva can also fill you in on. Adva in general was a brilliant host, responsive, helpful and thoughtful. Kid loved it, dog loved it, adults loved it, would highly recommend!

ein super Wochenende gehabt

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

We absolutely loved our stay, the air bnb itself is lovely with a lovely garden for our little dog. We came for tulip season so it was a great base to see the tulips, cycle round Kinderdijk, visit Gouda, and go for walks on the beach. The apartment has everything you need and the hosts and their dog are lovely and very responsive

Wunderbar für einen Kurztrip in die Natur. Wir haben Ruhe und Natur gesucht und sie auch gefunden. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit gut erreichbar. Wir haben unsere Batterien aufgeladen und sind zufrieden wieder nach Hause gefahren. Der Strand und die Dünen sind nur ein paar Schritte entfernt - ideal für lange Strandspaziergänge! Der Blick auf die Pferde und die Ponys hat uns glücklich gemacht. Ab und zu kam eine Katze vorbei und man konnte wunderbar die Vögel beobachten, die um das Haus herum unterwegs sind. Ringsherum haben während unseres Aufenthaltes die Tulpen in allen Farben geblüht! Vielen Dank Tjeerd für deine Hilfe und Unterstützung in allen Belangen. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Wie auch schon beim ersten Mal: Sehr nette Gastgeber. Tolle und ruhige Lage! Die Aussicht aus dem Wohnzimmer - traumhaft schön! Das Interieur sehr schön und gemütlich! Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung perfekt! Zum Strand durch die Dünenlandschaft ca. 2-3km. Ein sehr schöner Supermarkt befindet sich in 1km Entfernung. Und man kann natürlich das schöne Restaurant der Gastgeberin besuchen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank! Astrid und Michael

We stayed with our 5 month old for a week. Charming place, extensively equipped kitchen, wonderful living room and terrace to enjoy a good time. And Janneke was always super helpful, forthcoming and made us feel welcome!
