It is the great place for family, you can see the aurora at night and enjoy the day with hot stub outside the cabin. Highly recommend this place.

So often, air bnbs have failed to live up my hopes but this place does not disappoint. Perfectly located for us- just off a main route but still quiet and peaceful. It had everything we needed and we especially appreciated how warm and cosy it was after long days of exploring. We really couldn’t have asked for more!

Wir haben uns auf Anhieb in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles sehr ordentlich und sauber. Die Umgebung ist ruhig. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 3 Kleinkinder. An Platz mangelt es nicht und auch für die Kinder ist alles sicher und gemütlich. Die Gastgeberin war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns alles bereit gestellt was man zur Versorgung braucht, auch der Check-In verlief einwandfrei. Katrinn hat uns genau über die Lage und den Ablauf informiert, trotz nächlicher Ankunft war sie und Asta gut erreichbar. Wir sind Katrinn unglaublich dankbar und würden die Unterkunft, wie auch sie als Gastgeberin immer wieder weiter empfehlen!

Excellently located for short drive to most key attractions within the golden circle. Very quiet and away from the main towns so perfect for seeing the northern lights. Spacious modern house with everything we need. Dóróthea and Baldur were perfect hosts and very responsive. We must come back here!

We absolutely loved staying here! It was easy to get to in winter with 4WD and was a lovely location to watch the northern lights (there is not much light pollution). We visited in February and watched the lights from the hot tub multiple nights in a row. It is also the perfect location to visit the three 3 major attractions on the Golden Circle (Thingvellir, Geysir, and Gullfoss) as well as other Golden Circle destinations. They are all within a 10-30 minute drive. The house was clean, warm, and inviting. The welcome book and “leaving Uthlið” book was very detailed and well thought-out. Everything in the house was in its place as the notebook and instructions stated. Palmi and Vala were very responsive and had great recommendations. 10/10 Highly recommend!

The hot tub was lovely. The cottage was cozy and clean. We loved the porch. We were able to see the northern lights while hanging outside. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen with no issue. Great spot and close to the lagoon and a few kilometers from multiple restaurants. Would recommend to anyone going to the area.

Warm, cozy country style, home in the south of iceland. Hotub was great, and the kitchen had everything you would need to make a great meal. And we saw the northern lights every night of our stay in April.

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for a small kitchen. Eggert was quick to respond and check-in was easy and smooth. Great overall experience and would definitely recommend this place.

We had a magical stay at Sjornohall! The unique setting amongst the moss covered pseudo-craters feels like it’s from a movie and the views of the Northern Lights were breathtaking. The locations makes a great base for visiting Vik, as well as visiting the National Park with ice cave tours. Audur is thoughtful, kind, and very responsive. She even let my kids meet her chickens, horses, and dogs which was a highlight of our stay for them. The house had every amenity we could have needed, as well as many unique extra touches. We hope to return again some day!

It was in a very peaceful setting convenient to gorgeous South Island waterfalls, shoreline and bird watching. We used the hot tub every evening and enjoyed the birds and the quiet. We were there three nights and wish we had more time!

We came to Iceland for Northern Lights. This is a rustic cabin on the farm perfect for seeing Northern Lights at night…at the comfort of the cabin. Sveinn is hospitable and a responsive communicator. The cabin is remote, away from city light pollution, but a few restaurants and a grocery store are about a 5 minute drive in this small town. For 3 consecutive nights, we saw Northern Lights on the back porch with wine, dessert and hot chocolate without having driving to somewhere else. It is cold and windy in south Iceland. But staying at this cabin, you can get inside to warm up…then go back outside to enjoy Northern Lights in the sky. Would return again.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin with a breathtaking view! The place was clean, cozy, and felt just like home - comfortable beds, a hot shower, and strong WiFi. The photos were true to life, and everything was exactly as expected. Communication with the host was excellent—Friðrik even messaged us to let us know the Northern Lights might be visible from the cabin, which was incredibly thoughtful. One thing to note: the road to the cabin is quite bumpy with some deep potholes, so it's best to drive carefully and try to arrive before dark if it's your first time. We look forward to returning during our next trip to Iceland.

The perfect one-night stop. We saw the northern lights and were excited to be so close to the horses! The roads in were easy.

A beautiful location. Loved the breakfast and the views! The ability to relax, drink coffee, and take in the views before check-in is a nice touch! Would definitely recommend!

This was a fantastic cabin. The beds were extremely comfortable. And the view was amazing to wake up to. The hot tub is no longer included in the cabin (there are several hot springs in the area though) but otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Een heerlijke week overnacht in het huisje en getourt door de Golden Circle. 3x het noorderlicht gezien door weinig lichtvervuiling in de buurt! Fijn dat er vloerverwarming aanwezig was om het huisje op temperatuur te houden.

Tranquility was a lovely stay for three nights during our Iceland trip. We explored the highlands and south coast from Tranquility. It’s very private in a more remote location. The beds are comfortable, it’s got everything you need. Make sure you grab some groceries before your stay!

We absolutely adore this place and have just been back for a second stay. The location is magic. The cabin is super charming, clean, cosy, welcoming and full of character. It is lovely to see that past guests have left behind little things to add to the decor and make it feel very special. The privacy and middle of nowhere feeling you get there are amazing. There are only two points we feel worth mentioning as little downsides to this cabin: The shower is tiny - it is more like something you'd find in a small caravan. The two single beds are very narrow and for some adults maybe not a very comfortable choice. All in all we'd never let those facts keep us from coming back. We LOVE this place.

Nordurnes ist ein richtig schönes Tiny House mitten in der Natur. Überall um einen herum ist es friedlich und es fühlt sich sehr entspannend an. Maja ist sehr offen und sympathisch und hat uns gute Tipps für unsere Erkundungstouren gegeben. Nordurnes ist auch richtig gut ausgestattet und es ist alles da, was man so braucht. Wir haben uns hier sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Everything was great when we came, beautiful summerhouse with loads to do both outside and inside. If we had any questions we called and asked and it was no problem for them to answer me straight away. Very nice and helpful people that own the place and we will come again😊

Loved our stay here in Iceland! The home was spotlessly clean and so easy to find. It had a really cosy feel, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A fun bonus was being close to a stable with horses! Plus, it was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a full kitchen with a dishwasher and a washing machine. The towel heater in the bathroom was a lovely touch too. Highly recommend!
