Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. The Hideaway on Mitchellii Lane

A completely furnished apartment in the basement of our log home (our main residence) on 5 acres of woods above beautiful Shavehead Lake. Entrance into the apartment through a screened in porch and double French doors provides privacy and space to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoor landscape. A large egress window allows natural sunlight into the bedroom on the opposite side of the wall from the kitchen/dining room/living room. High speed internet & YouTubeTV provide entertainment options.

Semi-Private and cozy in-law apartment in the lower level of our year-round lake front home. The space includes a full kitchen, bedroom with private 3-piece bathroom and a living/dining combo. Step out from the apartment onto a large deck overlooking a 340 acre all-sports lake. Paddle boat and kayaks incl. Winter activities include proximity to Swiss Valley Ski Resort. (10 miles) 300 foot walk to evening dining and cocktails. 30 minutes to Kalamazoo and 50 minutes from South Bend, IN.

New for summer 2023, private lake access across the street on Little Crooked Lake! Peaceful, 2-bedroom cottage in the heart of Sister Lakes, Michigan. Fully renovated in 2021, this cottage features a large deck overlooking trees and a partial view of Little Crooked Lake. Eat-in kitchen, Weber charcoal grill, Adirondack chairs, and patio dining for 6. Walking distance to The Strand and Sister Lakes Brewing Company. 17 miles to Lake Michigan and 30 miles to Notre Dame.

Come for a relaxing getaway in the country. Cook in our small kitchenette or use our Blackstone or fire pit. Located in a small hobby farm setting with sheep roaming the pasture. We also have a couple cats that claim the pool area as their own. The long driveway and gravel road are perfect for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the great outdoors. Take a swim in the pool or a soak in the hot tub and let the worries of life melt away during your stay.

Copper Ridge Inn

Copper Ridge Inn is a private guest house on Carlson Farms, a 250-acre working farm. You will love the tranquility of the private lot that the house sits on with views of the farm across the street. The house includes four bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, and several living spaces, including a garage bar (not temperature controlled) (the only TV in the house is located in the garage). The private back yard porch is perfect for relaxing.

Located in the heart of Amish county, featuring 2 bedrooms plus an enclosed porch which makes a great dining area or the perfect place to read a book or play games. Beautiful lake view and large deck for enjoying sunsets and sunrises. Fish Lake is an all sports lake with great fishing and shallow sandy bottom out more than 30 feet from shore.
