With the overwhelming interest of The Penthouse, which is also on the property, we are excited to offer The Cottage as our next great place to stay in Ellensburg. Originally built in 1930, we have recently remodeled the space. The Cottage is a close walk from downtown, CWU and the rodeo grounds. We offer a full kitchen, double-headed shower and wonderful outdoor spaces complete with BBQ and outdoor lighting. The Cottage offers an abundance of natural light and custom touches to enjoy.

Come and stay in the heart of the Wenas Valley. Just minutes from Wenas Lake and the Wenas Wildlife area. 8.5 miles from Naches. 14.5 miles from Selah. 20 miles from Yakima. Close to White Pass, Chinook Pass, Ellensburg, and the Yakima Canyon. Visit nearby wineries or enjoy premier birdwatching in Wenas Wildlife area. There are hiking and biking trails. Umptanum falls is a very popular destination and an easy hike. Drive to Ellensburg on the old Ellensburg Pass and much more!

It’s close enough to everything, but far enough in the tranquility of the woods. 10 minutes to DT Cle Elum. 15 minutes to DT Roslyn. 20 minutes to Suncadia. 1hr 30min to Seattle.

The former art studio of Louis Kollmeyer still holds the artist's charm and creativity but updated for your stay in our rodeo city. Tumbleweed House aims to share with you the creative and western roots of Ellensburg.
