This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

The Shoemakers Cottage has undoubtedly one of the best locations in Whitby right at the bottom of the 199 steps tucked in a quiet alley off the cobbled street. A small but cosy romantic cottage over 3 floors close to the harbour, the abbey and very close to Tate Hill Beach. BBQ and picnic basket set provided. Romantic victorian freestanding bath in the main bedroom. Arrival is down the busy cobbled church street. Best location. On-street parking scratch card provided in the W zone 10min walk.

Pretty cottage situated on the village green in the heart of Castleton village. Open fire for creating a cosy night in & perfect for exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. Castleton is lucky to have two great pubs The Downe Arms with fabulous food and atmosphere right across the road and The Eskdale which serves lovely ‘fine dining food’ but also lovely just for a drink. Secret Garden Hideaway occupies one of the most secret locations in the Centre of Whitby at Summer Hills, with a private garden accessed from the St Hildas Terrace behind a stone wall at the top of Flowergate it has guests returning to this wonderful location. Kitchen (kettle, toaster, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer) hair dryer, TV, DVD, shower/jacuzzi bath, towels, wifi, bed linen, iron, 1 double bed & a sofa bed downstairs, 2 twin beds & single bed upstairs. Parking directly outside.

Spring Bank Cottage in the heart of Whitby

Spring Bank is a beautiful cottage in the heart of Whitby, the home of Dracula. The cottage is cosy and well equipped, we have underfloor heating in the kitchen and comfy sofas on the 2nd floor lounge. The bathroom is located on 3rd floor with the bedrooms. The twin bedroom can be made into a double bed & we can provide a travel cot if requested. One small well behaved dog is allowed (not in the bedrooms or on furniture). You're surrounded by restaurants and pubs all within walking distance.

Upstairs, on ground level there is a cloakroom, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge.

The quaint village of Hawsker is a perfect spot for people wishing to enjoy the natural beauty of the North York Moors, the stunning Yorkshire coastline and the Cinder Track which runs from Hawsker down to Robin Hood's Bay. Also perfect for exploring the bustling fishing town of Whitby which is just a couple of miles down the road.

Please also note that the property has slipper baths - there are no showers or shower heads (see pictures) Private area with seating and a hot tub. We are in the countryside but only 2 miles from local amenities. Pocklington is 2 miles, The beautiful city of York is 12 miles, the coast is only an hours drive.

Old Forge in Wrelton, North Yorkshire.

This cottage, in the village of Wrelton near Pickering, was a 19th century blacksmith's forge and has now been renovated into a delightful living space complete with fully-equipped kitchen, large living room area, bathroom with walk-in shower and a cosy bedroom located on a mezzanine floor which is reached via a spiral staircase. The Old Forge offers a great location for a relaxing stay in beautiful North Yorkshire.
