If you're the sort of person that likes staying in memorable places, then Sarah's place is for you. Book it. The cute little bedsit she's created is clean and comfortable and has a nice little balcony overlooking the barn its inlaid into. Your primary view? A beautiful field populated by vast ancient trees and a herd of water buffalo that Sarah has hand raised. To settle into a drink here while the sun goes down and the herd brays its approval for bedtimes was an utterly magical experience. I only hope you get to experience it too. Just go. Beautiful property on the False River. Spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and comfy beds. Plenty of room for our party of 6 to gather and enjoy each other’s company.

Matt was extremely responsive! This was a last minute trip and the condo was perfect for us!! Clean and ready and so cute!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming fishing cabin on False River! The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and it was the perfect spot for our family of six (including two kids) and our two dogs. The porch was our favorite place to start each day with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, taking in the peaceful view. The dock was great for a little fishing and enjoying the serene atmosphere. Inside, the cabin was older but cozy and well-equipped. We were able to cook breakfast together, and the kids had a blast watching movies and playing games in the evenings. It really felt like a home away from home. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, was incredibly responsive, and gave us great recommendations for local activities. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and spend quality time with our loved ones. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly retreat!

We loved out stay at Melody house. It was peaceful and beautiful. The beds were so comfy. The house is absolutely beautiful. We would love to book with Pam again if we get the opportunity. If I had any questions she responded promptly, but we didn’t need much because her instructions were clear and the home was very easy to find. It was perfect.

As this is a family tradition to stay on false river every yr for Easter this one was bitter sweet beacause my mom wasn't there she passed away 4 months ago. She definitely would have loved it. The home was very warm and welcoming we had a great time we fished tried our hand at kayaking lol. and just hung around. We did have a few issues but it was fixed right away. It was a little pricy but it was worth the stay everything was beautiful and the hosts was very helpful and respectful and responsive to our needs. We will definitely book ago. What a delightfully inviting country retreat--definitely an artsy cabin and peaceful sanctuary in the woods! I'm sure I'll be back to enjoy again the natural beauties and delights of the area, the history and culture and cuisine there too, and this home away from home too.

We had an amazing time! So many diffrent areas to hang out and enjoy the views to the lake. Kirk was easy to communicate with and very friendly. Highly recommend this place! Thank you Kirk!

It’s the perfect place to unwind. Gorgeous park like property with scenic views from every window! Was so relaxing to drink coffee on front porch and watch the pond. Saw geese, wood ducks, deer, hummingbirds, horses, chickens, and more! Plenty of space for the whole family and no fighting over bathrooms! Peace, quiet, and serenity. After sunset the game room kept us entertained with a pool table, ping pong table, dart board, and I have to mention plenty of TVs! Had a great time with my family here!
