Our family loved our weekend in SML. This was one of the cleanest rentals I have ever stayed in. There was so much space and room to entertain and most importantly seating for everyone. Stephen is a great host. He was extremely responsive. The pictures don’t do Cedar Key Retreat justice. Everything was just perfect.

Very nice home with modern amenities, close to Liberty College, so it was easy to meet up with my son. Very nice quiet neighborhood , will come back and stay here next time I come to Virginia. Thank you so much.

We enjoyed two wonderful weeks at this charming little cottage overlooking a beautiful park. The home was clean and well stocked. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. The home felt cozy and lived in. We could not have asked for a better host. Lee was wonderful and responsive. She made sure we had everything we needed and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Five stars!

We love to stay in this very unique home. The place is wonderfully charming .We love the many old decorations , old American style .We and our grandchildren had a wonderful time .A great place to relax away from the city.

Nice place to stay

This very cozy cottage is exactly as pictured. The space was clean and comfortable and Taylor was quickly responsive to all messages. We would stay again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

Anna and Nate’s place was perfect for our one- night graduation stay. We frequent Lynchburg and loved that their place feels like a slice of home and is off the beaten path. Clean, quiet, and comfortable, it met all of our needs! We will be staying again. Thank you, Anna and Nate!

Unfortunately, we only got to stay here for one night, The Crow's Nest was a welcomed haven after a long drive. Bobby's clear instructions on where to park and the key code for entry made it easy for us. The place is exactly as described and it felt very welcoming. We greatly appreciated how clean and comfortable the place is and the wonderful welcoming touches, such as the soap, teas and snacks -- and even the filtered water ready in the fridge after a long drive. The place was convenient for us as we moved our daughter out of her dorm in Randolph College. After an evening of packing, we bought ice cream at Rookies (yay that they offer one vegan flavor and it was delicious) and we enjoyed it on The Crow's Nest 's desk for a lovely evening watching the sunset. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the night peaceful, allowing us to feel rested in the morning to finish moving our daughter out and ready for a return drive home. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will want to return again!

Would highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing weekend. This was a repeat stay, and everything was just as nice as the last time. Quick communication with Gwendolyn was appreciated, and everything we needed was available or offered.

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!"

I had blindly reserved a room at one of the Roanoke airport hotels the night before departing the area, and it was HORRENDOUS. I felt unsafe and the smell was awful. Be warned. I was so grateful that Melba accepted my very last minute reservation request, and while it was a bit of a drive, it was absolutely gorgeous. Arriving at the cabin was no less than magical. It’s beautifully and thoughtfully designed with everything you could need. And THEN, you go out on the perfect back porch, complete with rocking chairs and a massive porch swing, to view the magical collection of horses, alpacas, goats, chickens, pigs, all happily roaming amongst the rolling green pastures. If I was single and could afford it, I would try to buy this place. Everything about it is special and has clearly been crafted with care for their guests. I hope to be back one day. ✨

Very nice cabin . Stayed a few times . Always clean and tidy

The cabin is absolutely beautiful & cozy. It's very peaceful. I loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee and listening to the birds. Although we're local, I would love to return for a quick get-a-way and refresh!

Our stay at Finn’s Folly was fantastic, we wish it could have been longer. Kathryn is a great host, even leaving us some fresh eggs to enjoy! We’d gladly stay again.

The cabin was amazing. Exceptionally clean! It has all the charm and comfort items you would need for a week. The cows are a sweet added bonus. A quiet and peaceful location with spectacular views.

The host is exceptional. Very responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed the time we spent in this rustic setting. The alpaca's we so gentle and fun to watch. For peaceful getaway this airbnb is perfect.

My parents stayed here for along weekend and they absolutely loved it! They said it was the cleanest place they have ever stayed in, and they really enjoyed the privacy and tranquility of the home. They also loved the town of Bedford and said they would definitely be coming back!
