Tanner was the ultimate host. His property was pristine and worked out great for two couples. He had labeled all the cabinets in the kitchen so that it was easy to find whatever you were looking for! The lockable outside shed for our bikes was a huge plus. The stairs to the 2nd floor apt were a bit steeper than normal but were still easy to navigate. The living room had multiple seating options. Beds were very comfortable. Showers had plenty of hot water and ample towels were available. Would highly recommend this property. We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful apartment, awesome location, and easy parking! We had a great time and felt right at home. It was very clean. The Nintendo Switch was SO fun for us to play with. The host was friendly and had great communication. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at Mac's place! The apartment has everything you could need, we especially liked the many options for making coffee. The photos definitely don't do it justice and I probably said I wish I lived there a hundred times. One thing is we did find the water pressure to be a bit low in the shower and it took a while for the water to warm up. Could just be a symptom of these old houses so it didn't bother us. Otherwise everything was perfect and we would definitely recommend staying here!

Tom’s place was perfect for our family get away! His accommodation somehow looked even better than the photos and slept the 5 of us very comfortably. There are a bunch of higher tech features that aren’t even mentioned in the listing. And the views were FANTASTIC! The mountains to your left and the historic miracle on ice rink to your left. You are right in the middle of it all - but the space still felt like a calming oasis. Would certainly stay again.

This is our second time staying at Vadim's place and I will likely continue to come back here each time we visit Placid. The home is clean, spacious and has a beautiful view from the balcony. I cannot recommend it more highly.

We had an amazing stay at Bon’s Airbnb near Whiteface Mountain! From the moment we arrived, Bon and her friendly cat, Moose, gave us a warm welcome. The check-in process was seamless with a personalized electronic door code, making everything super convenient. The space itself was cozy, beautifully designed with a rustic charm that perfectly fit the Lake Placid/Jay area. The views from the second floor were breathtaking during the day, showcasing the stunning mountain ranges, and at night, the fairy lights added a magical touch to the atmosphere. Being located above her garden store was a lovely bonus—the fresh, natural scents made walking in feel so inviting. The two-bedroom setup was perfect for our group of five. The queen bed, bunk beds, and couch provided comfortable sleeping arrangements, and the stocked kitchen had everything we needed. And, the hot water lasted through four consecutive showers, which was a huge plus! Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

This was our second stay, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! The location is perfect—an easy walk to downtown, making it so convenient to explore. One of our favorite parts of the stay was gathering around the beautiful farm table each morning for breakfast. The home is clean, cozy, and the perfect size for our group. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I sold our home in the area and needed a place to stay for a month before we could get into our new home. Aimee was able to host us at the last minute when our plans suddenly changed. She even made an exception for our 2 cats . Her home is lovely with a beautiful view of Lake Champlain. The kitchen is updated and contained everything we could possibly need and more. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub in the yard felt amazing at the end of the day!!

Great place with lots of room. Great location for mallets bay and all lake Champlain has to offer. Janet is amazing host both friendly and responsive.

John was a great host who communicated quickly and has one of the BEST guide books on Airbnb. His home is an historic farmhouse which is what is appealing since it doesn’t feel like a run of the mill Airbnb. When you enter you immediately know you’re inside a home that has been added to over the years. The kitchen is very well appointed and large and has the original 40’s / 50’s era cabinetry. Very cool feature. The beds were plentiful for large families and comfortable. All in all we had a very good experience staying at this heirloom family home.

The place was great and an easy drive to downtown. We walked to Leddy Park and enjoyed a hike along the lake. The house was great and very comfortable. Relaxing in the hot tub on a clear night full of stars was a highlight. Thank you for allowing pets. Our new pup did great on his first vacation trip, the only downside was the yard was not completely fenced in so had to keep the puppy on a leash in the yard.

Amy & Bryon were wonderful hosts - I reached out well in advance letting them know we were traveling to the area to celebrate a birthday and inquired about early check-in. They were more than willing to be accommodating in every way. We arrived for check in and were greeted by Bryon and a chocolate cake with our names on it! YUM. The house is out of the way of the tourists, which is just what we wanted. It’s close enough to Lake Placid & Saranac that you can get in the car and go, and be where you needed in 20 minutes. The house was immaculate and filled with plenty of extras. We literally needed nothing. It was such a peaceful weekend and we are so thankful we were lucky enough to be hosted by them! If we are ever back in the area, we will be looking for Amy & Bryon’s availability. Thank you both so much!

The house was clean and spacious. It was conveniently located, a short walk to downtown. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the water pressure was good. Communication was excellent. We highly recommend it & would stay here again.

Absolutely love staying in this condo with my family of seven people. Beautiful loft for the teenagers and two big private bedroom downstairs. The view was fantastic and you couldn’t ask for a better location. The Adirondack decor and huge stone fireplace or a huge plus. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location and property. It was well appointed, comfortable and had many cute ADK touches - moose culture :) The communication was easy and fast with the property manager. We would 100% stay again.

Beautiful, well kept, and clean condo. Space was perfect for our group and just as described in the listing. Kitchen was bigger than I expected and everything in the kitchen was in excellent/new condition. The DR/LR space was plenty big for our crew, and it was really nice to have have four bedrooms, each with their own updated bathroom. We did use the sauna which was lovely and a lot bigger than I expected! I would definitely book this unit again when in Lake Placid.
