The Railway Carriage is unique. It's so cozy and lovingly decorated, it really makes you feel welcome! The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There is a huge outside area and parking right in front of the accommodation. A lot of interesting sights can be reached within short driving distance. Sam provided excellent information and was very helpful. Thank you for an utterly relaxing time!

Our stay in the hut was a perfect peaceful getaway from the city. Annie has thought of everything and keeps the place in spotless condition. The hut is so cosy and the garden is serene. The area is beautiful, and has everything you need. Annie gave us some great recommendations for walks and places to visit in the local area. She's an exceptionally welcoming host and really makes the whole experience special. Thanks again!

Just had a fantastic stay here - it's a beautifully presented shepherd's hut surrounded by rolling green. Host communication was great, and we found the hut to have everything we needed. The bed is comfy, the shower is great, and there is a functional kitchen. There are a couple of bbqs and a swim spa (a very large hot tub), making it easy to relax if you don't fancy going out. If you do want to go out, you can walk to local pubs or to Heale Gardens, which is lovely. I imagine most would come here by car but it is possible to train into Salisbury and get a taxi, as we did. All in all, we couldn't recommend this place enough - it's fantastic and I think we'll try and make it a yearly occurrence.

A lovely little place to stay! We managed to book a last minute one night get away in the shepherds hut and it was a perfect choice for us. Hassle free booking with very good communication. A beautiful little hut in lovely surroundings. Easy to find and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. The hosts were very welcoming as were the neighbours who owned the big garden/field opposite! Found a great pub (The Crown) in the village where we enjoyed a lovely Sunday carvery! Overall a great overnight stay. Thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Hair’s Lair. We loved the beautiful views, the amazing wood fired hot tub and the lovely friendly dogs. We felt instantly at home and that we had the place to ourselves. The huts are so well spaced we didn’t even notice there were other guests! It was such a well designed and cosy space with everything you could need. This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts as we got engaged on the first night of our stay! Magical place! The setting is so beautiful, the huts wonderfully decorated, and with every thought given to comfort. My kids LOVED the stay, especially the chill out gazebos, and the fairy woods - truly a magical place! Communication was great, and Jenny really is a perfect host. We'll definitely be back!

Would definitely recommend Herbie the Hut! Cute and cosy with everything we needed and beautiful surroundings! Annie was super friendly and helpful and our dog Luna loved our stay! The pub just a 5 minute walk away by the river (the bridge inn) is also very yummy! We definitely hope to visit again in the future, thanks Annie 😊!

Great location to visit the surrounding Cotswolds and a quiet and peaceful place.

We had a wonderful time and we couldn’t fault the attention to detail to make the stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The place is cosy but spacious enough for a small family or group of friends. Cath was a great host and provided clear and timely communication, ensuring a smooth check-in process; she even came to say hello when we arrived. She also left us some provisions and a bottle of fizz in the fridge; the place is beautifully decorated, there are plenty of utensils in the kitchen, condiments, crockery/glassware and bedrooms are cosy, comfy and warm; it is very clean and tidy. It was lovely sitting outside by the log burner in such peaceful surroundings. We'd definitely love to come back and stay longer. x

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in Emily’s shepherds hut, with our Beagle. The village is quiet, beautiful and clean. The local pub was perfect to dinner on the day of arrival. The drive to the new forest was along picturesque country roads and super easy. We also went to Bath for the day as well during our stay and I would highly recommend! The shepherds hut has everything you could need, and Emily was super helpful when booking. We really appreciated being left to our own devices for our stay and would absolutely recommend if you’re after a relaxed, out of city experience. A magical stay, thank you Emily x

fantastic stay, Rebecca gave really clear instructions on how to find her, arranged parking permits for our stay and was very responsive to our questions. well stocked kitchen with everything we needed, including milk and crumpets in the fridge, and tea and coffee, both the bed and sofa bed were very comfy and the shower had great water pressure. would definitely recommend staying here and would absolutely stay again when I'm visitng Bath

What a beautiful stay we had at the luxury shepherds hut. Everything was so carefully thought out- from the rose petals on the bed to all the finishes around the hut. The hut was well heated and had everything we needed. Went to a day trip to Frome which we really recommend. Charlotte is a friendly and responsive host.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay in this lovely hut. It was incredibly tranquil — the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The surrounding wildlife and natural setting made it feel like a little slice of paradise. The hut itself was cosy and comfortable, just right for a quiet getaway, and we very much enjoyed the cakes left for us! My partner, our dog Ted, and I all thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We’d definitely love to come back!

Absolutely beautiful cabin to spend a weekend away! My partner and I absolutely loved our stay, the combination of being out in nature with the wood fired hot tub was just amazing. The location is fantastic too, as we drove down to Durdle Door on the Saturday and spent the day in Bath on the Sunday. Angela is a fantastic host and we will definitely be back!

The pictures do not do it justice. The hut itself is wonderful inside, really cosy, homely, and well furnished, and the area is absolutely stunning (plus everything’s walking distance). Dilly was a fantastic host, really friendly and easy to communicate with, plus provided us with some lovely treats (including everything for a bbq and fire!), went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend - in fact, we have done already!

Had a super time at Little Green, which is a lovely wee oasis of calm. The shepherd's hut is cosy (especially with the fire going!) and you can tell everything was put together with a lot of care. Most important, I slept like a log as the bed is v comfy! The outdoor kitchen has everything you need and I enjoyed cooking with a view. Cathy was really friendly and helpful, with lots of useful tips for places to go around Bath. Can't recommend enough!

We had a fabulous trip, the cottage is well decorated and pleasant,extra fresh bread, scones and gin were a lovely surprise treat too! The location is also brilliant i can fully recommend.

Staying here was an amazing experience. Although we didn’t manage to see any otters, we did see deer along the embankment, and a large variety of birds! The peace, quite and gentle crashing of the river made for a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. We’re definitely planning on staying here again.

This beautiful shepherds hut is the perfect place to relax in a peaceful green place. Alice is so friendly and helpful, but leaves you to enjoy your own space. You feel like you have your very own idle in a gorgeous woodland glade! Would very much recommend staying here.

Impstone is a beautiful house, set in an idyllic location. Beautiful surroundings with quaint villages either side. It's a great location to base yourself if you have a vehicle. A short trip to the New forest, Salisbury or even the coast. Peter, the host, was communicative and helpful. During our stay, they let us be and gave us complete privacy. They were on hand with any help if needed. There is a small but well stocked Budgens mini supermarket about 10 minutes away and pubs around the same distance for food. The Shepherds hut itself was clean, well equipped and the bed was a good size and very comfortable. There is a separate kitchen area for cooking and cleaning and the shower/bathroom is just 10 steps away too. All very clean and well equipped. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We really enjoyed our stay at Fiona’s Shepherds Hut. It was decorated and finished to a high standard, very comfortable and actually feels bigger inside than expected! The log fire was great (although it gets very hot very quickly, probably our fault and put one too many logs on, we actually had to open a window at one point!). Fiona was very responsive to our questions and queries, including when the solar power went off due to the poor weather. (The farm shop directly over the road also do an incredible breakfast!) Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and is an ideal base for a quiet weekend away. Thank you Fiona!

I’ve been looking for a little cabin with a hot tub for a weekend staycation for a while so I was thrilled when Sweet Acre came up for the dates I wanted. Billie was incredibly responsive to messages and provided all the information we needed to find the hut and check in which was very helpful given I haven’t been to that area before. The hut itself was really clean and had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. I especially loved the notebook with suggestions for walking routes and pubs nearby - definitely recommend the Nog Inn if you fancy a nice pub lunch! We had a lovely weekend and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a break in the countryside!
