Secure cycle storage is also available. Broadway, Stow-on-the Wold, Bourton-on-the -Water Cheltenham, Stratford and Oxford are all drivable

Penny Cottage is in the heart of the former Saxon town of Winchcombe. It is a traditional Cotswold cottage with a working inglenook fireplace. It is on the Cotswold Way and has access to miles of country walks. Sudeley Castle, the resting place of the only Queen of England to be buried outside a royal palace, is within walking distance. A variety of pubs and restaurants can all be found within a 5 minute walk. The town also boasts a variety of independent shops, and two small supermarkets.

Our 200 year old cottage provides the perfect getaway for walkers, cyclists, families or those just wanting some time to unwind and explore the beautiful Cotswold country side. Although the accommodation has been recently refurbished with a new kitchen and bathroom it still retains a wealth of original features including exposed oak beams, stone walls and wood floors. Pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops, Sudely Castle are within walking distance. Cheltenham race course is 6 miles away.

Our cosy Cotswold cottage on the ground floor has a fitted kitchen .A Washing machine is situated in the under stairs cupboard.The kitchen leads to a dining room with a pine table and six comfortable upholstered chairs. There is a cosy lounge for relaxing. A TV player is provided .On the first floor are is a twin-bedded room, a double-bedded room and a bathroom. On the top floor is a spacious double bedroom .There is an en-suite shower room . PETS: please ask us about our policy.

Located on the most photographed street in the ancient Anglo-Saxon town of Winchcombe. We a few items when you arrive including my homemade jam! The cottage living room ceiling is quite low (as is traditional) so taller guests may wish to factor this into their stay
