This may be my favorite room of all time! So sunny and bright, I was very happy to sit on the extremely comfortable bed and read all morning, snacking and sipping on a variety of yummy foods and tea stocked in my room and the foyer. What an absolute dream! The hosts were responsive and delightful - happy to give me my space or chat on the porch. I need to find more excuses to come back to Wise!

We had a wonderful stay! Gorgeous outdoor space and pool - we practically spent all of our time outside as it was just too beautiful not to! Great location close to the town of Big Stone Gap and a short drive to High Knob. Dee was a very responsive and accommodating host! We loved the stylish space and found the house to be well appointed for all of our needs.

This place was fantastic for my trip! I loved the beautiful walkway and pond, the town overlook, and the easy check-in. The cabin's interior was lovely, and its secluded location made me feel at home. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The cabin and property was wonderful! We couldn’t have asked for better communication with the host. And, The location was perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

We had a peaceful and quiet Christmas with family invited over for Christmas Eve dinner. We really enjoyed our stay. There is plenty of room for our two children to play inside and outside. This was our second time staying and plan to return again this upcoming year. Great location for us to our family. It really makes it easy for all of us to get together. Everything was nice and clean and Denver is a great and communicative host.

Driving through the mountains was beautiful! Love the creek by the house. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Would love to stay here again!!

I am so sad we couldn't spend more time here. the loft is so freaking snuggly and cozy, I didn't want to leave. super comfortable bed with soft bedding, lots of clean fluffy towels, and loved the twinkle lights and fireplace. I want to come back just to hang out in my pjs for a while!

Clay was a great host, checking in with us shortly after our arrival to see if we needed anything. We had one issue which he resolved in a timely fashion and did everything he could to make up for our inconvenience. We will definitely return to his property when we return to the area.

Here on a M-F business adventure. Eva and Wayne are very welcoming hosts. Greeted us and shared some great knowledge of the area. The place is clean throughout. Great having the covered carport in the front, kept it cooler outside with the high summer temps. When the moon came out, the back deck was the perfect spot for stargazing, sipping, and talking. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We bought groceries locally and cooked our own meals for the trip except for dinner in town one night. Kitchen was stocked with everyday pans and utensils. The surrounding area is walkable, some small hills, but not terrible. Definitely look into this place if needing a place to stay versus a hotel, especially if you prefer to cook your own meals. Thank you Eva and Wayne for the hospitality, a beautiful stay, and the cheesecake was a delight.
