This charming home is an ideal, tranquil retreat. While only a moment's walk from town, it is secluded, sitting directly on the lake. Kayaks are provided. Watch the sun rise and set from the house, the shore or while floating. The house is fully furnished w/ linens. Come to focus on doing the things you love: walking, shopping, fishing or watching languid sunsets lakeside. Please note: Month-long stays are not available June-Aug. We only accept minimum 5 day reservations during these months.

Less than an hour from Minneapolis, the Loondocks is a sun-soaked, pet-friendly hideout on beautiful Big Eagle Lake. Natural stone steps (NOTE: These are uneven, so do not book if you have mobility concerns!) lead down to the bungalow-style house, a stylish bunkhouse, wood-burning sauna, spacious deck with lake views, and flat waterfront yard. Welcome to Big Lake/Monticello! Our one bedroom studio is fully equipped for your stay. Private screen porch, separate, private entrance, full kitchen and walk in shower. Ample parking. We provide a few light breakfast items such as coffee, juice, milk. We will re-supply coffee, tea, bottled water. After one week, paper products are your responsibility We do offer a variety of snack items as well. *note: Minnesota weather is unpredictable. No guarantee porch is “open”until May 1.

This beautiful little cabin sits on the water edge on Indian Lake. Great Lake to fish on. There is a swimming raft that you can swim to along with a paddle boat. Great access to snowmobile trails. This is a small place on a septic system. Not far from Annandale or Maple Lake . 2 vehicle parking. Please note docks come out of water labor day weekend each year. Pontoon rental $200 per day with Gas, $50 cleaning fee if not clean. Fish house rental available.
