Close to the quaint fishing village of Appledore, with it’s bustling quayside and ferry across to Instow. A 10 minute walk to the coast path. The cottage is ideal for couples, families and friends any time of the year. Northam with it’s shops, fish & chips, Chinese take away, pub and restaurant, is a great base to explore the wonderful North Devon Coast.

Situated in a tiny hamlet within walking distance (1 mile) of picturesque Clovelly steeped in history this cosy cottage acts as an ideal base for exploring this wonderful scenic and coastal area. Ideal for romantic breaks, couple holidays, anyone with a passion for gardens, or wanting to totally unwind in secluded surroundings. Electric Car charging point available.

Little Hoops, cosy converted barn

Little Hoops is our cosy converted barn with original beams and underfloor heating throughout making it ideal for a break away at any time. We lovingly restored it with our family a number of years ago and have enjoyed making it a special place to stay, we often joke that it is far nicer than our own home! The barn has a courtyard garden with table and chairs and is close to the local pub, The Crealock Arms. The coast is a 10 min drive away while shops, cafes etc approx 5 mins in a car.

Skirr Cottage was the home of the acclaimed writer Henry Williamson who is best known as the author of Tarka the Otter. With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. Putsborough surfing beach is a 25 minute walk via fields or via a lane. or 5 minute drive. The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving gastro pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.
