Very nice house to stay, lots of space for a 10 family members, spacious kitchen with all basic items, lots of Privacy for couples. We were in the house for the weekend to attend to a family wedding, we really really enjoyed and liked the house, it's located very close to the city center, it is close to the church and reception hall was also very close by. I highly recomend this place for people to stay in. Other than that Catherine the host was very helpful and also very flexible with our needs.

The cabin was very cute, peaceful and cozy, the view of the forest was beautiful, the pillows and bed was very soft and comfortable, I loved cooking in the cabin I was very pleased with the amount of utensils. The hot tub was amazing we saw a family of cute deers. Janet was very nice and quick to respond to our messages. We enjoyed our trip!🤗

I knew the house would be rustic, so I brought my camping gear. I did not need them. The kitchen was well equipt. I could cook anything I needed to make on the hot plate or in the microwave/toaster. There was also a smoker and like 5 BBQs. Do not be worried about cooking. The location is awesome. It is so close to so many things.. or you can just hang out on the property. We spent a day on the property and a day exploring. We spent every night in the hot tub. It was glorious. The bed is very comfortable!

This was one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve stayed in. Peggy was great & her unit, though small, was uncluttered , very comfortable & very well stocked. The crowning feature was the lovely, peaceful & cool backyard. Our 4 year old granddaughter lived visiting

We had a wonderful stay. The pool and hot tub were amazing. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pots and pans were a really nice brand.

The ride to the place was beautiful. Waking up and looking at the beautiful trees through the large beautiful windows was breath taking. It was quiet , beautiful and very relaxing! The house was very clean and the owner was very responsive and helpful. We appreciated the book they put together for local spots to visit and the restaurants did not disappoint.

Our family member stayed at Olia’s place for about a month while in town. Olia was fantastic at communication, accommodating, and the place was perfect for our needs! We would recommend to others looking for a charming little spot in the Arden area.

My husband and I loved our stay at Suzan's cottage nestled in the woods. The cottage looked so sweet. It was so clean! There are 4 acres of land with flowers sprinkled throughout the landscaping. You can tell there is a lot of love that Suzan puts into both the cottage and the property. We brought our Doberman and our golden retriever with us and Suzan allowed them to run free around the 4 acres to their hearts content. Suzan's cottage is by far the best experience for us and our dogs that we've found to stay on our travels. Lovely house and lovely property for both us and our fur babies. Thank you, Suzan, we'll be back.!

Excellent Airbnb. Highly recommend. I think this was my 6th time staying here. Keep coming back for friendly and responsive hosts, quiet surroundings, great views, clean and comfortable furnishings, proximity to lots of activities, thoughtful touches and reasonable pricing.

Let me start by saying this is the second time I have used this place. It is absolutely beautiful. They have legs, their geese, ducks, kayak’s, paddle and row boats as well as fishing poles. While I barbecued, I experienced the joy of watching my wife and three of her children in the row boat singing along to a song by Sublime. It was a magical day and this is a magical place! Mary is so sweet as can be and took care of every little detail. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Paula’s place is great! It’s really nice and the pictures don’t do it justice. The serene landscape, farm animals, and sweet antique decor make it feel like an escape to grandmas house! Complete with a sweet snack upon arrival.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Jared and Morgan were very upfront on what to expect. If/when we return to the area we would definitely look at staying at the Ophir Inn.

We had a fabulous time and the back yard / pool area was a perfect setting for my large bachelorette. It seemed the host was anxious about having a group our size (23 women) yet did not list anywhere a maximum number of guests on the listing. It seemed we earned their trust through the stay though. Initially it felt awkward to have to text the host for things like turning on the hot tub or outdoor lights or pool slide, but they were pretty fast in response time and it ended up feeling pretty easy. Wish the kitchen would have had more kitchen towels, seems maybe not set up for full on dinner party use - but they did bring trash bags and replace the outside grill upon our request, which was impressive. Overall a positive experience! The grotto was lots of fun - we never left the property all weekend.

Prior to check in all the way through check out, Christian was an extremely communicative host. I really appreciate that there were very clear instructions for everything. Some of us were flying in from out of state and Christian was very accommodating with an early check in. This place is huge and spaciously laid out. We hosted dinner for 12 people multiple nights and with so much space, we never felt like we were on top of each other. Our group spent a ton of time outside-enjoying the relaxing pool and lounging area. The property is maintained and beautiful. We had 3 kids with us who were obsessed with this house! Christian has so much for the kids to do that they never got bored. Seriously - between the cinema room upstairs, pool, water slide, sports outside, foosball, there was never a dull moment which is really saying something for kids! I’d stay here again when I’m in town in a heartbeat. Thank you Christian and your family for the wonderful stay, we sincerely appreciate it

We recently stayed at Don and Kathy’s beautiful home for our son’s wedding weekend and it was absolutely magical. Don and Kathy were incredibly hospitable, always easy to reach, and made us feel so welcome. The home itself is stunning—truly something to experience. The home is well-appointed and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style for a truly relaxing stay. The surroundings felt straight out of a Hallmark movie, with autumn leaves falling and twinkling Christmas lights creating a festive atmosphere. It was cozy, inviting, and felt just like home. We can't wait to come back and stay here again! Thank you, Don and Kathy, for making our special weekend even more memorable!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property! There was plenty of space for our entire wedding party, and it was spotless when we arrived. Kathleen was an incredible host — so helpful, responsive, and flexible throughout the whole process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The property itself is truly unique, with so many interesting historical decorations that gave it so much charm and character. We also loved taking advantage of all the activities available on-site, which made for an unforgettable experience. All our guests raved about the layout of the space and how much they enjoyed their time there. Highly recommend this Airbnb — it was the perfect setting for such a special occasion!

This place is perfect. I’ve stayed before and can’t wait to stay again. Close to Lake Tahoe, truckee and lots of hiking and beautiful spots right in the vicinity. It’s exactly what you’d want and imagine for a cabin in the mountains. Can’t recommend it enough and just so thankful to be able to stay in this amazing place!

We had a awesome time, our host provided great communication and the house was exactly what we hoped for. The weather was hot and the pool was the perfect, AC was cold for when we couldn't be in the pool. Fun to play pool, chess, cards and watch movies in the theatre room. Great kitchen with everything you need. Thank you for having us.

Jacqui und Paul sind wunderbare und herzliche Gastgeber. Das Riverstay ist wundervoll. Es hat eine gut funktionierende Heizung, es war trotz eines Kälteeinbruchs sehr sehr warm, das sagt eine Frostbeule, die ihre Wärmflasche nicht nutzen musste, was an ein Wunder grenzt. Es gibt nichts was nicht vorhanden ist, vom Salz bis zur Bodylotion ist alles vorhanden. Sehr bequeme Betten und absolute Ruhe. Alles ist geschmackvoll und penibel sauber. Obwohl die Gastgeber selbst im Haus wohnen ist die Privatsphäre völlig gewahrt. Danke für fantastische Tage.

Suzanne is a wonderful host! She is so kind, attentive to the needs of her guests. I am touched by her caring spirit. The cottage will always hold a special place in my heart.
