We are located just three minutes from Sweet Briar College, 20 minutes from Liberty University, and 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Close to restaurants and downtown Amherst. In 20 acres of wooded seclusion, you can relax next to Harris Creek, watch deer in the yard, spot owls and bats or build a campfire and listen to the rushing water. On hot days, climb right in and cool off. Just 10 minutes to Downtown Lynchburg and 20 to Liberty University. Walmart, Food Lion and Sheetz only three miles. This cozy and charming cabin was originally built as a country store in 1930 and has been updated with all the modern comforts. NEW in 2025- bathroom fully renovated with walk-in tiled shower! The cabin has a front porch perfect for sunset, back deck with gas grill, full kitchen, king bed, queen sofa bed, mountain views, and ten acres to explore. Come unplug and get away from it all! Tucked away on the “quiet” side of the famous route 151, we are minutes from trails, breweries, and more!

‼️PLEASE NOTE: The driveway is well-maintained gravel, but it is steep. To preserve its condition and avoid getting spinning tires, 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive is highly recommended. Thank you for your understanding!‼️ Woody’s is the perfect place to rest and relax. This gem of a cabin is nestled in a beautiful part of Virginia, surrounded by the majestic George Washington National Forest. Woody’s is only 30 minutes from Madison Heights and 37 minutes from downtown Lynchburg.

Need a quiet get-away? You've got the it!!! Enjoy the deck, HOT TUB, gorgeous mountain view and lovely night music. This home has a living room, furnished kitchen, bathroom, & bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor, 2 loft floor mattresses; basement has a full bed and bathroom. A gas grill and fire ring are provided. You will have Wifi, Roku TV screens, puzzles, card games, and corn hole. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby. This cabin is 15 min from the AT at mile marker 809.1.

Pleasant Scenic Area, Wintergreen Resort, and an assortment of local restaurants, wineries, and breweries, including the Rt. 151 "Brew Ridge Trail."

Enjoy a peaceful stay in our early 1800’s log cabin. The Cabin sits at the heart of Morris Orchard, a Virginia Century Farm. From the cabin porch, you will look across the pond and enjoy a view of High Peak Mountain, apple orchards, hayfields, and cattle grazing in the pastures. The cabin has been beautifully renovated, preserving the charm and history of the cabin, while adding all the modern amenities you would expect.
