Relax as the sun sets on this acre and a half property of cottage gardens just 15 minutes north of Toowoomba. The countryside views await you. Wake up to the occasional misty morning view from your bedroom with uninhibited views of the valley to the west. Moved to this location in 1925, Edwin Cottage is filled with period charm and character. We are located 4 minutes from the city and 5 minutes from Queens Park. It is a short 9 minute drive to Gabbinbar and 13 minutes to the showgrounds. We have many food options within a 1 minute walk including a bakery, Fish & Chips, Chinese, Kebabs, Cafe, Spar Express and a liquor store.

I do have an additional house in Middle Ridge that sleeps 12, it may work better for you or for large groups you could book both houses. It’s not sleek, modern or perfect but built with love and a desire to share our off-grid lifestyle and simple farm life. We have the most amazing, relaxing, rejuvenating, outdoor wood fired bath, to soak up nature, the stars and spend time with your loved one. Of course there are cows with long horns too.

Centrally located 5 minutes from the CBD, this detached private guest suite is the perfect stop over for anyone on a business trip, break or just passing through. It’s a simple, comfortable space with everything you need including a kitchenette, en-suite bathroom & air conditioning. It’s separate to the main home with a private entrance. Free Wifi & a light breakfast of cereals, porridge & milk included, along with essentials like a fridge, tea & coffee, microwave, cooking basics, & linen.

Iredale Farm Stay

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Relax and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the countryside, or talk to the farm animals and wander around our property spotting birds, wallabies and maybe an echidna! Only 15 minutes to Toowoomba, but far enough away to see every star in the night sky. Recharge while you read a book in bed and watch the cows graze just outside your window, then enjoy drinks and a bbq on the deck later on while you watch the sunset. The kids will love it too!

Glen Iris Cottage

Welcome to this freshly painted and comfortable country cottage on our 150 acre farm only 20 minutes from Toowoomba & 10 minutes from Oakey. Main bedroom has a small deck to sit & enjoy view. The new kitchen & living area enjoys country views with fireplace, air-conditioning & smart TV with Foxtel. We breed dropers, have 2 alpacas and frequent sightings of koalas. Horses welcome with 2 stables available. Only 26 minutes to Toowoomba Show Grounds. We can provide fresh eggs when available.

Eldridge -Little Brick House- Circa 1889

Eldridge -Little Brick House- is my home but now the guest suite allows you to enjoy the charm of this special space. This beautiful little cottage was built in 1889 by bricklayer Albert Egbert Eldridge. Enjoy the gorgeous rustic brick interior complimented by beautiful modern conveniences. Centrally located to inner Toowoomba. Eldridge has had a renovation to make a cosy, comfortable completely private guest space. This is not a large space but has most things you need when traveling.

Gum-tree lodge, escape to the country!

Welcome to Gum-tree Lodge, situated on a quiet rural property 30 minutes west of Toowoomba where we have a few cattle, 3 dogs & 2 cats. Tenants have use of a fully self contained one bedroom unit with a queen bed & a sofa in the living area that can sleep 1 adult or 1-2 children. WiFi is available but there are no laundry facilities. A great place to stopover for weary travelers as we're just 7 mins from the Gore Hwy & the town of Southbrook. Ample parking. Complimentary tea & coffee.

Comfortable and cosy, cottage style accommodation with back deck and full kitchen. Our cottage also has a fireplace and 4 person spa on the deck. Come and experience the peace of country living, blanketed by the stunning night sky whilst enjoying a glass of your favourite around the open fire. We run sheep and cattle on our property and have a sheep dog called Shred.
