This cabin stay was the perfect get away!!! It was o beautiful and peacful there! Fritz was very responsive and proactive on any and all information I needed. The place was clean,relaxing,and well equipped for a weekend stay. We will be coming back to this spot because of how much we enjoyed it!!! Thank you Fritz for being a wonderful host and providing this gorgeous space.

This place is so so special. Book it and you will not regret it! The cabin is very clean. The grounds feel very safe, private and secluded on the property. The sounds of the creek, and birds really add to the peacefulness of the escape. The add ons are well worth it and look like someone really cared and took their time to prepare for you. This was a surprise for boyfriend’s birthday and he was so happy and felt right at home. Grateful The bathroom was very clean but is about 40feet away out doors so pack a comfy warm robe, slides and a lantern or flashlight (to light the way) in case you need to quickly go in the middle of the night. I liked the experience of it being outside overall. Fire pit and grill seemed easy to work. The hosts are super responsive. If you want to sleep in a little I’d recommend an eye mask as the cabin brings in lots of natural light as the sun rises. We loved our stay and will absolutely be back for a longer stay!

The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

Eagle View is a stunning getaway in the mountains with amazing views - making the drive up the mountain well worth it! Nice and homey cabin that our kids enjoyed - especially the game room and hot tub. Close to the caverns, vineyards and easy drive to the National Park. Ray was an amazing host who communicated well and often and was super accommodating - even providing dog bowls for our pups!

We had a fantastic time at the cabin! The place is adorable and we loved looking at the deer and stars at night from the hot tub. Short drive from Shenandoah and nearby restaurants. 100% would recommend.

You get exactly what you see in the pictures and more! We stayed in the hot tub the majority of the time while taking in the scenic view. The rest was in the screened in porch where you still have the view along with hearing nature. The place is amazing and we will back next chance we get!

Stayed here for half of spring break. Place was clean and had a lot of great amenities. There were a few things that were a little confusing when we checked in but the host responded very quickly and all things were completely resolved. Close to Luray Caverns, workable for some beautiful hikes in Shenandoah, and right on the river. We really enjoyed our time. Would recommend to anyone planning to stay in the area.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This Airbnb truly exceeded all our expectations! Communication with the hosts was completely hassle-free, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. The digital guide they provided was outstanding—packed with helpful details that enhanced our stay. The property itself was fantastic. The rooms were not only comfortable but also spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The amazing supplies available mean you only need to bring your family, clothes and pups. I recommend checking the spice rack before heading to Food Lion—you likely won’t need much, as the kitchen is impressively stocked. The game room and hot tub were a huge hit with the teens, keeping them entertained for hours. The location was also ideal, with easy access to Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. This stay had everything we needed and more. We’re so grateful for the seamless experience and would absolutely recommend it to others. Already looking forward to retur

If you looking for some place with your better half for couple days, believe me, THIS IS IT! Kelly is very nice person, very easy to communicate with! Plus the place… believe me it’s waaaaay better than on pictures! Very privet away from anything, when you get in you don’t even want to get out anymore! Definitely will be back❤️ Thank You Kelly!!

Great spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. The cabin is cute and very private without feeling like it's totally in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful scenery all around. The hot tub with mountain views is the best part! And nice selection of games in the living room. Katrina sent clear instructions so checkin/arrival was a breeze, and I had no issues that needed addressing during my stay. A few things to be aware of: the beds are quite firm, and the couch is a firm leather couch, different from the one in the photos. The couch is very nice-looking but not the comfiest. Lastly, with fees and everything, this did feel like a splurge at around $330 a night, and we realized we probably could have found something similar at a lower price point. Still, it was a memorable trip and I'd recommend this place!

Had a great stay with our dogs. We loved the privacy with no neighbors in sight. There were lots of bees so it was a bit hard to enjoy sitting out on the deck but otherwise was great! Nice to be able to walk into Shenandoah right from the house.

This small country cabin was the perfect fit for two people ! We had peaceful breakfasts on the back porch, enjoyed watching the horses come and go, and it was in the middle of all the things we had planned to do. If you want a nice, quiet country stay, this is the place for you !

Sereda’s cabin exceeded our expectations. It was a little gem in the woods where we relaxed on the veranda, BBQ’d and sat round the camp fire outside. Great places to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful home and location, would return!

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

The cabin was great and the location on the river was perfect. Brittany is a great host and we will book again sometime this year. The pictures and descriptions are very accurate. The property is easy to find and a short drive to activities, farm wineries, and farm breweries.

Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for, super quiet and relaxing with the lake and back porch. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We loved our stay at this cabin! It offered total privacy, making it feel like our own little hideaway in nature. The surroundings were stunning—peaceful woods, fresh air, and gorgeous views all around. Inside, the cabin was cozy and thoughtfully furnished for comfort. We enjoyed walking down to see the waterfall on the lower field. The a/c was refreshing for what turned out to be a summer-like Easter. A perfect escape for a long weekend!

This was the first time using airbnb so I was a little nervous but the trip could not have gone better! If you’re looking for a private, peaceful getaway, could not recommend this place enough! The location was perfect, with plenty on nature based activities to do, and the property was just as described. The host had a printed copy of all rules/expectations and a list and a BUNCH of things to get into in the area, which made everything go so much smoother! Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend!!

The best way to review a stay is to say that you will return. I will definitely return to this cabin! I'll put it on my list of favorites.

I cannot begin to explain how special this cabin by the creek is. We sat out on the back porch and listened to the water and the rain and felt like we were experiencing something truly special. There was plenty of privacy and we took several drives to Harrisonburg, local parks, and unique sights nearby with ease. The cherry on top of our trip was our proposal with the background sounds of the forest and spring. The hosts were responsive, accommodating, and have a lovely property. Our dogs enjoyed walking around the woods and sitting with us on the porch. This was a memorable experience and we hope to be back next year!

I’d argue that this is one of the best places to stay in Wintergreen. The cabin itself is perfect. We are a young family and it was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is also perfect. It is very close to all the attractions on the resort. Clay was a great host as well. The perfect amount of communication; engaged without being intrusive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be sure their trip is easy and successful!

True southern hospitality, a beautiful, walkable property, and a clean, cozy cabin. I am already planning my next trip/stay. It is near lots of great hiking. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, private stay in the woods. Thank you Jen & Kris for being such amazing hosts!
