Located on a no-through road above the village with a beautiful ocean view for a tranquil getaway, we are a five-minute walk to fine dining, shops, pubs, marinas and more. Our newly renovated suite has a small kitchenette, bar counter with a view, new comfy queen sized bed, seating for relaxing, reading and TV watching and a bathroom with heated floors and a rain head shower.

A stay at the Granary comes with a tour of the Keating farm if you choose! Our guests have loved learning about the history and future of the farm. The cabin is designed for a cozy place to unwind, relax and be your Cowichan home base. Visit the farm-to-table restaurant by day (Friday-Sunday from Mar-Sept.) or stargaze at night. Watch the farmers tend the vegetables while you cook up a meal in the spacious open kitchen. Biking and hiking trails and swimming within minutes. Family friendly! Vineyards close by, too. Hot yoga classes available on the farm, too.

Escape to our private one-bedroom suite nestled in the heart of Maple Bay on beautiful Vancouver Island. This cozy haven offers sweeping ocean views and a perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Steps from the water and public beach enjoy sightings of seals, otters, birds, and even whales. Ideally located to explore the Cowichan Valley’s scenic trails, award winning wineries, and vibrant local scene - making it the perfect base for both relaxation and outdoor exploration.

Mount Tzouhalem Lookout

Welcome to our listing and the Cowichan Valley. We overlook Quamichan Lake, and are located midway between salt water at Maple Bay and the city of Duncan (each are a six minute drive away). We are also midway between Nanaimo and Victoria (1 hour drives). For bikers and hikers the Mt. Tzoulhalem (Kaspa Road) trailhead is 600m away (we provide bike lockup). Our rate is for 2 guests. Additional guests are $50 per night. Sorry, we're not child-proofed.

A countryside retreat overlooking pastures with both wildlife and horses. Enjoy a relaxing getaway at Prancing Pony located on a 37 acres farm kitty-corner to Hemer Provincial Park. The geodome lodging includes a queen size bed, and 3 piece bathroom. There's a microwave, mini fridge, sink, and outside is a BBQ. There's a deck to lounge in the sun, a gazebo sun shelter, and a fire pit. In the evening, frogs serenade you from the nearby pond.
