I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The apartment was very neat, clean and comfortable- exactly as described. Communication with the host was smooth and prompt which made everything easy from check in to check out. The building itself had all the amenities i needed, making my stay even more enjoyable. Easter Weekend Getaway Review We had a wonderful stay during the Easter weekend! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with delicious drinks and snacks, setting the tone for our trip. The accommodation was beautiful and impeccably clean, making it a perfect retreat. Andrew, our host, was exceptional. He provided clear instructions and directions, and even checked in on us to ensure we arrived safely. His caring nature truly made us feel at home. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, and we are already looking forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended!

Well appointed, comfortable unit with lots of space and light. Located right on the beach with easy access to the promenade for walking. Lovely, spacious patio with 180 degree views of the ocean. Kitchen is modern with all appliances. Thank you, we enjoyed our relaxing stay.

great location, clean and well serviced, very secure with boom gate security and entrance staff. there are some items that need maintenance in the apartment, like ligh bulbs, light switches etc.. but didn't impact us much. recomend it for an Umhlanga stay.

The place was quiet spacious and very nice with a beautiful view of the city. The host was very friendly . The location is next to a lot of trendy restaurants which are a walkable distance from the place.

A wonderful place to stay in Durban. The host is always available to assist and there are caretakers on the property ready to help if necessary. The pool is spotless and the entertainment area is full of options and lots of fun. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Beate home is truly a "home away from home". Each day I went into Durban, I looked forward to getting home. The home is tastefully designed. She just bought a new wooden table for 6. All the wood in the house matches the lush garden that you're surrounded by. :-) Anything you can possible need is in the home. Beate is also lovely enough to get whatever you may need. Walking distance to anything you need. I really enjoy this home!

Beautiful place, highly recommend it!

I recently spent time at 125 Penzance for my mother’s 60th birthday. The venue was so pretty and comfortable. We received so much help from the caretaker Sboniso who made us feel right at home and went out of his way to help us set up tables and everything, there was no request too big for him. It’s the perfect place to host a gathering, we definitely would love to make use of the back garden next time! Thank you so much Zama for making things easy for us!

Absolutely lovely flat. The linens, made by Camille’s company it turns out, were some of the nicest I’ve ever slept on — and I’ve spent a great deal of time in luxury hotels for work. ( If you’re local check out That’s Linen ). If, like me, you’re booking because it’s walking distance to stuff, be prepared for a workout on the way home. But hey, great views don’t come without steep climbs.

Amazing stay. Apartment is stunning just like the photographs. It is well located, close to the beach and theres a shopping centre close by. Host was extremely responsive. Will definitely be back again.

What a beautiful spot! From the moment you arrive you feel as though you can exhale. Stunning place, beautiful furniture linen and every amenity. Special touches like great coffee, milk in the fridge and just all round welcoming space. Oh but the views of the ocean!! Wow! Literally a few steps away with direct beach access and access to the promenade with its host of beautiful restaurants and close proximity to shopping etc. You can’t get better value for money in such a beautiful space and location than this spot in Umhlanga! Oh and the host was the cherry on top. Warm, helpful, responsive. I will be booking again! That’s for sure. 🔥🔥🔥
